PALLAPALLA |
PallaPalla is the one in blue and she appears to be the youngest of the Amazoness Quartet. She has got to be the silliest of them as well! Her voice is very cute and young and she sounds like she's always trying to defend herself by sounding innocent and guilty at the same time. Her role in the circus involves riding on a unicycle and juggling items. You might call her the best magician of them as well. PallaPalla also has some of the neatest tricks and powers; which include switching things (There's the famous Usagi and Chibi Usa age switch, where Chibi Usa became Usagi's age and Usagi vice versa because PallaPalla switched them!), checking out sources of powers... PallaPalla loves being the center of attention.
She holds a storybook theatre in a park where she tells
{Very ExCiTinG} stories in her own opinion. One of her common ]
ones include: "There once was a princess who had a forbidden
lover, the evil wizard killed the lover, then the princess
committed suicide. The end."
Her stories cause her audience (mainly kids) to boo at her and
give her thumbs down signs. She then proceeds to get ALL their
dream mirrors! You see, PallaPalla is more concerned over
getting Dream Mirrors in
quantity
than quality.
If Zirconia doesn't assign her with a specific target,
she'll just go attract a crowd and attack.
PallaPalla loves toys and most of her lemures come in the
shape of jack-in-the-boxes, black-top-hats with rabbits,
bowling pins and more!
When disguised as a civilian, PallaPalla wears gypsy type
clothes (looks like a magician and/or a fortune teller) for her
shows but when she's just wandering around, she wears chic and
cute clothes like jumpers, extremely short mini-skirts, and
tops that bare her midriff. Yeah, and guess what?
PallaPalla is none other than the counterpart of Sailor Mercury!
As a member of the Amazoness Quartet, PallaPalla is very playful
and they basically stage the Dead Moon Circus.
All the Amazoness Quartet members are very young, or so their
height and the way they act suggest. Although they work for
Zirconia in finding the Dream Mirrors, they prefer to spend t
heir time playing and doing nothing. They have a motto which
they tend to chant over and over again until I want to smash
the TV. It gets stuck in your head as well. Their motto is
"Dreams... Dreams of Children... Dreams...
Dreams of Children...
have bright luminance and emit bright lights...
Dreams...
Dreams of Children......etc...". Get my point?
Many of their games include hide and seek (have fun Zirconia!),
playing with Zirconia's flying eyeball and such.
They tend to be incredibly lazy as well and can be found
resting while they get back massages, facials...
To get the Dream Mirrors, all of them have pool sticks and balls.
They take very good aim and shoot. Unsurprisingly they never
miss! No matter how much the victim may duck and/or jump out
of the way, the ball always manages to bounce off in a zillion
directions and still hit the victim causing the Dream Mirror
to fly out. To call on their Lemures (monsters), they focus on
their shadow and an evil face (much like the face on Zirconia's
clothes) appears . The face jumps out and takes it's first
form. There are 2 forms for them, the first is much more
compact and smaller, but when it takes a type of half-human
form, it grows a face in the stomach area and swallows
the dream mirror. You can find out more about this when the
profiles of the Lemures are put up.
In the manga, they become healed and turn into the
Asteroid Senshi whose duty is to protect Chibi-usa.
They were created by Neo-Queen Serenity and Sailor Saturn for
this purpose. PallaPalla's identity as an Asteroid Senshi
is Sailor Pallas.
In the anime, they become normal girls once healed
and go with Pegasus promising that they will be back.
Might I mention that PallaPalla is sometimes referred
to as ParaPara?! However, I followed the manga spelling of her
name just in case you were wondering whether I got her name
wrong.
