July 19,
As regular visitors will probably notice, Konron has a new look these days. If you notice any broken links or color schemes that seem to be out of the ordinary, let me know and I'll get it fixed. Thanks for your patience while Konron gets a gradual facelift.
AnimeIowa is almost one month away. I highly recommend this event for anyone in the area or the means to travel to Iowa for the weekend. Year after year, this convention draws a larger crowd and people who attend have a great time. Sorry though video gamers! I won't be there to defend my crown at the tournament this year. You better believe I'll be there next year to reclaim it though. ^_-
Manga volume 40 was released in Japan a few months ago and the 3x3 Eyes manga has come to a conclusion. What does this mean for the future of 3x3 Eyes? It's anyone's guess. I think I speak for everyone when I say I hope there are more installments of the anime on the way.
Other than the release of volume 40, there isn't much going on in the world of 3x3 Eyes. I have been getting a lot of e-mail over the past few months asking about anime past the seven volumes currently available on DVD. There IS NO NEW ANIME for 3x3 Eyes. The seven volumes (all on Pioneer's 2 DVD set) is all the 3x3 Eyes anime that currently exists. I have not heard of any new episodes being made or even rumors of a continuation. That doesn't mean that there won't be in the future, you always have to keep your fingures crossed.
I hope you enjoy Konron's new look and, as always, visit again soon. Comments and suggestions are welcome.
I mentioned a great internet radio station in my last update that many of you are probably already listening to. If you by some chance haven't checked it out yet, give Japan-a-radio a listen. If you use Apple's iTunes software, click on radio, then international and select Japan-A-Radio. It's a fantastic station for anime/j-pop lovers.
The most recent changes to the site, as always, are outlined below.
Here is a list of recent changes. (Well, maybe not so recent. -_-')What's New? | |
