Chpater5: "The Past and Present Pains"

It was another typical afternoon for the scouts. They had met after school for a brief meeting. "How much longer? I have stuff to do," Pauline protested.

"Alright, meeting over," Kathlyn said, since there was nothing much to talk about. Everyone had either left home or went to do stuff.

Kathlyn was left alone sitting on a bench thinking of a guy she liked, when suddenly a voice said, "Alone, Sailor Sun?"

"Huh?" Kathlyn said as she looked up to see Luna.

"Queen Danielle needs you," Luna said pointing to her, suddenly Artemis appeared next to Luna. Kathlyn was about to transform but a feeling inside told her not to and she surrendered, so the three teleported to a dark and cold cave.

Jessie had stayed behind and saw everything, then thought Why would she give up so easily?

She then called the scouts. When everyone got there, they transformed. To their surprise Kyle came along with Darien.

"So Luna took her to Danielle," Sailor Pluto commented.

"Luna left by her own free will," Saturn added.

"So come on, are we gonna go get her? She's our leader," Star said. At that point, everyone joined hands with Darien and Kyle in the center and teleported.

When they opened their eyes they saw that they were on top of a mountain. "Why do I have a feeling that we're not in Kansas anymore?" Sailor Wind said trying to lighten up the moment.

"We are on a lost island's highest mountain near the ocean, that's all I sense," Sailor Ruby said opening her eyes.

"You came, finally, I knew you would. Ha!" shouted Queen Danielle from across the distance. Then in a blink of an eye the battle had begun.

The battle had begun and to everyone's surprise Kyle had transformed into the Moonlight Knight. "Youmas attack!" Danielle yelled as they attacked the scouts.

During the battle, Earth found an opportunity to sneak into a black hole that was behind Danielle and got Sun back.

"Thanks," Sun said.

"You owe me," Earth said, smiling at her friend.

Queen Danielle then realized that Sun was gone and the battle was looking bad for her "No!! I won't loose to a bunch of bitches!" she said in a rage. She blasted the first scout she saw who was Sailor Earth. Earth screamed in pain as the blast pushed away from the others and led her off the cliff.

"Noo!!" cried Sailor Wind in a frozen state, then fainted.

(flashback)

"Serena, Serena, where are you?" Queen Serenity said. She had been searching for her daughter all morning. She walks into a bedroom and asks, "Cecilia, have you seen Serena?"

"No, why? Does she have to go somewhere where I and your other daughter will not be able to go?" Princess Cecilia then added, "Don’t deny that you favor her over us." Her dark blue eyes were stained with tears. You could just see it in her face that she had been crying all morning.

"Listen,I don't have time right now, but I promise I will talk to you, Jessica and Serena about this later," Queen Serenity said, leaving the Princess's room.

"Mom," Serena said from behind.

Queen Serenity turned around, "Serena where have you been?" she scolded.

"I was watching Jessica talk to this guy from earth," Serena said following her mom.

"Dear," Queen Serenity said while entering the ballroom. When she opened the door a bucket of water fell on her and Serena. Another one of Jessica's jokes Queen Serenity thought. "That's it for the both of them," Queen Serenity said. "Serena, dear, go to your room and change, I have to talk with your sisters."

Cecilia and Jessica came into Queen Serenity's room after being summoned by the guards. "You two aren't staying here any more, I'm sending you to foster homes on earth; I had been thinking about it for awhile. You’re leaving tomorrow, so start packing your things," Queen Serenity said to them.

Cecilia and Jessica didn't respond, Cecilia turned around and grabbed Jessica and they both left to her room. "Don't listen to what she says, we'll be better off there anyway," Jessica said thinking that she could spend more time with her boyfriend Prince Endymion.

"I'm not gonna stay where she leaves me," Cecilia said with anger.

"But you’re young, you should stay with me, Mimi," Jessica said with a tear in her eye.

"You haven't called me that in a long time, Jessie," Cecilia said. After that, Jessica went to her room to start packing.

The next day they left, never to see Queen Serenity or Serena or their other friends Lita, Mina, Rei, Ami, Michiru, Haruka, and Setsuna again since they were part of the royal court and never traveled to earth much.

Jessica stayed with her foster parents. After a year Cecilia left with a younger Prince named Derek, who was her long time boyfriend, to another galaxy to train for a war that was taking place there. During the years, Jessica never saw Endymion because she lived in Europe, and Endymion lived in Japan. She had heard rumors of him and her sister Serena together, but didn't believe it. Everynight, she would think of him and wonder why he never came to see her.

When Queen Beryl attacked the earth, Jessica fought, but got killed. Then after destroying part of earth, Beryl went for the moon. As for Cecilia and Derek they fought with all their might, but got killed by one of the shadow warriors.

(end flash back)

(Tokyo, present)

It was dark when she woke up; Kyle was sitting at her side, holding her right hand. Mimi sat up, her face was white as the moon. Kyle looked at her and asked, "Are you ok?"

"I remember," was all she could say.

"Remember what?" Darien said, walking into the room with a confused expression on his face. Mimi then looked around the room and asked, "Where are the scouts?"

"They finished off the fight and went home," Darien said.

He was about to continue when Mimi added, "Where's Jessie? She didn't..."

"No, I caught her before she hit the ground when you fainted," Darien said.

"Well, where is she now? I have to tell you all something," Mimi said. Darien then stepped out of the room and a few mintues later Jessie walked in with him.

"Mimi you’re ok," she said with joy. She sat down on a chair that was by the closet. Mimi then told them what she remembered, after that was done, she opened her left hand which had been closed ever since she fainted. In her hand were two lockets, and a note.

Kyle took the note and read it. The note was from Queen Serenity and it explained some things, it also said that since Usagi was gone the last two remaining daughters of the moon would take their rightful place, also Queen Serenity wrote that she was sorry for everything.

Kyle then put the note down and said, "I don't get it."

Mimi then got up and opened the window suddenly a light shot in hitting her and the others. Then as soon as the light had come it disappeared. Jessie remembered everything and giggled and said, "Cecilia, I've missed you." The two sisters hugged after that Jessie went up to Darien, who was still a bit confused and said, "Come on, let's go."

They then left, leaving Kyle and Mimi alone. "My princess, I've missed youm" Kyle said leaning closer to her for a kiss.

"I've missed you too," she said moving closer till they finally kissed. Kyle then lifted Mimi and placed her on the bed.

"I promise to be with you forever," Mimi said as they were now laying face to face, "Derek, I wish with all my heart to show you how much I love you."

Kyle knew that she was still young, so he just wrapped his arms around her and held her close to him all night.
