"Destinies Shattered and Renewed"
Chapter 6

Mimi woke up the next morning to find Kyle gone. As she gets up from bed, she notices a piece of paper by Kyle's pillow. She picks it up and reads it:

She then puts the note down and butterflies fill her stomach. She gets out of bed and decides to go for a ride on Darien's motorcycle. After she changed clothes, she headed for the door, then suddenly the door flew open almost hitting her.

Jessie then walks in. "Hi sis," she says to Mimi.

"What's wrong?" Mimi asks, going into the kitchen to get some tea.

"I had a fight with Darien," she replies sitting on the couch.

"Why?" Mimi asks coming back into the living room with two cups of green tea in her hands. She hands Jessie a cup while sitting down beside her on the couch.

"Well, after we left you guys, me and him were talking in the car, well we almost started arguing but before any of us could say another word I was already home. Then this morning he stopped by my house and we started arguing cuz I remembered how he left me." Jessie says sipping her tea.

Mimi responded, "But Jess, that's the past, you guys had no control of what was happening."

"I know, but he loves her more than me," Jessie said with tears in her eyes.

Mimi then places her hand over her shoulder trying to comfort her and said, "Why are you saying these things? Have you asked him?"

"No," was her reply as she lifted her head.

"Well then!" Mimi said not understanding her.

"I just know," Jessie said.

"Give him a chance after all he's just remembering"

"Why are you taking his side?" Jessie shouted at her.

Mimi then was full of anger and shouted, "You wouldn't understand."

"How do you know?" Jessie shouted.

"Look, you haven't remembered everything either, so give him some time," Mimi said, this time her voice softened.

"He still loves Serena," Jessie kept repeating.

"I'm not gonna waste my time trying to explain. He never knew Serenity kicked us out, so I guess he was hurt," Mimi said.

"No, Serenity was mean, but not that mean, she told him," Jessie said.

"Why are you blaming him? I know you hated Serena, why don't you just see through them?" Mimi said.

Jessie just looked down and didn't respond. Mimi then lost her temper and shouted, "Fine! Don't listen to me, you're being an enormous bitch!" She then left slamming the door behind her, taking the motorcycle keys.

An hour later, Kyle came back to the apartment bringing some lunch for Mimi and a boquet of white roses. Kyle then sees Jessie sitting on the couch with her head down. He puts the stuff on the kitchen counter and goes to her. He sits down on the couch. "Hey what's wrong?" he asks her.

"Oh, hi," she says looking up. "I just had a fight with Mimi," Jessie then puts her head back down.

"Why?"

"I was telling her about the fight I had with Darien," she says.

"I know, I spoke to him about it," Kyle says cutting her off.

"Oh well," Jessie says, continuing her story with her head still down, "I told her and she got mad and left taking his motorcycle keys, I don't know where she went," she says sobbing.

Kyle then hugged her lightly, "Listen, don't worry. You know she gets angry fast, especially now that she remembers how cruel her own mother was and for that she won't forgive her," Kyle said, he knew how Mimi felt. "You stay here, I'll go find her before she gets into a bigger mess or the Negaverse finds out," he said, getting up and leaving.

Kyle took his motorcycle, knowing it would be a little easier to find her that way. As he looked for her, he stopped by the park.

<Flasback to the past>

"Derek!" little Princess Cecilia said runnning towards him, as she came closer, Derek got ready for the impact. "Derek, I've missed you so much!" she said giving him a hug. Every time she came to visit earth, she would always find him at the beaches of earth.

Five years passed, she was now 10 and Derek was 12 1/2. Cecilia was playing on a large rock when she slipped and fell into the water. Derek jumped after her, leaving his generals, Kunzite and Nephrite on the hill of the beach with shocked looks on their faces.

If the princess died, Queen Serenity would surely declare war on Earth. Derek found her and found that she was unconscious. He drifted with her, holding her head above water. He reached a place along the river where his generals were waiting. They helped the couple out of the water. Cecilia was laying on the grass and regained consciousness. She started laughing.

"I don't think that was funny," Derek said looking at her seriously.

Queen Serenity found out, and from that day on she prohibited her from ever going back to earth.

Cecilia wrote to Derek, telling him how she missed the beach, since the Moon Kingdom only had rivers and not beaches, and him.

Kyle started to remember how Mimi would sneak out to see him.

<End of flash back>

Kyle jumps back on his bike and heads for the beach. When he finally gets there, he finds her staring out into the ocean.

"Hey, you," Kyle says sitting next to her.

"I can't take it now and I couldn't take it then," she says, still looking out to sea.

Kyle sees that she is angry, and says, "You remember don't you?"

"Yes, I remember, and I wish I was dead," Mimi says in a serious tone.

"Don't say that. Look at me," he says. She then turns to face him. "I love you," he says.

"I love you too," she says sobbing. He then wipes away her tears and kisses her lightly. She gets up and says, "I'm going back."

"I'll follow you," he says getting up and heading for his motorcycle.

When they got back to the apartment, Jessie and Darien were in the middle of a fight.

"How can you even say that?!" Darien says.

"I just know it's true," Jessie says.

Mimi enters and gets even angrier at seeing this. "Shut up! Just stop this shit. You bastards make me sick!" she goes into someone's room and slams the door.

Jessie and Darien stop shouting at each other and look at the door. "Um...that's my room," Darien says, he knew it was his cuz his was on the left and Kyle's was on the right. Jessie didn't know what to do, so she sat back on the couch.

All of a sudden, they heard her open the window to the room’s balcony. "She's outside! Look," Kyle says pointing to her.

Mimi had a vase of roses in her hands and threw it down to the ground. As she did this, she cursed at the memory of her mother and Serena. Suddenly they heard a noise outside. Mimi looked down from the balcony to see a youma. "I don't have time for this," she says as she transforms and jumps off the balcony.

Jessie and the others transform and were about to go and help her fight but she came back jumping up to the balcony covered in green ooze. "Don't bother, I finished it," she says to them from the balcony while detransforming. She went back inside; she exits Darien's room and goes into Kyle's room.

"Well, didn't I ever tell you guys you shouldn't start with her around?" Kyle says to them while standing next to his brother's bedroom door, which was open. Inside the room it looked like a tornado had passed. The room was trashed, the bed sheets were on the floor. Some picture frames which were on his night table were broken.

"I don't understand why she went crazy when all I did was tell her I got into a fight with him because of Serena," she says pointing to Darien, who has his head turned away from her.

<Ahh so the truth comes out> Darien thinks to himself catching that small portion of what she says. Now he knew the reason for all this bickering, but he wasn't gonna give in; he was gonna stand his guard.

Kyle knew Mimi far too well, he knew she cried herself to sleep and he also knew why she went crazy. "Jessie, you, better than anyone, should know what she's going through. Her feelings towards her family and friends aren't the joyous happy ones you'd normally have, even with her adoptive family," Kyle says.

He then goes to the kitchen table and sits next to Darien, who is now looking at Jessie sitting on the couch in thought. <How long can I keep this up?> Darien thinks. <I gotta say something, I just can't let her sit there and be mad at me.> He acted quickly and said, "I'm sorry."

"Huh, for what?" Jessie said forgetting about the fight. She really hadn't excepted an apology from him this fast, she thought they would fight forever.

Darien looked up and said it again, "I'm sorry for everything I did, even though I still don't remember," Jessie only looked at him with a tear in her eye. It hurt her that he still didn't remember, so she left the apartment.

"Why!?" Darien said after she had closed the door. Standing up he said it again, "Why do I always have the worst luck with girls?!" Darien then went into his room to start cleaning up.

Around midnight, Kyle went to his room. The room was not as silent as he thought it would be, from the doorway he could hear Mimi's cries. Kyle went inside and climbed into the bed next to her. He slowly collected her in his arms, and they both drifted off to sleep.

A brilliant flash of light woke them up. Mimi got up and ran to Darien's room, but he was gone. She ran to balcony and saw the flash of light again, it seemed so far away but it felt so close. <What's happening> was the thought she had in her head. She started to worry. Suddenly, the light was gone.

"Transform, and call the others, we need to meet in the park," a voice said coming from her communicator watch.

"Sun?" she said looking into the watch but the figure disappeared, she couldn’t get a good look. "Wind elemental power make-up!" Mimi said, raising her brooch in the air as streams of blue and white light cover her body, transforming into Sailor Wind. She was about to jump off the balcony when Kyle stopped her.

"They need us," she said.

"Go on, I'll meet you there," he said letting her go.

"Why are we here again? It's 5 in the morning," Wind said looking at Sailor Sun who was the first to arrive.

"How did you get here first?" Sailor Star asked her.

"Yeah," Sailor Ruby added, "You live farther away from here then we do."

As Sailor Sun was about to answer their questions, Tuxedo Mask interrupted their conversation, "Something's wrong here."

"Yes, my King, you are right as always," Pluto said, appearing out of an opening in the sky with Saturn.

Sailor Earth had just arrived and asked, "What's wrong, has something happened in the future?" The Moonlight Knight arrived, and Wind stood next to him.

"As always, I can't reveal the future, but I'm here to help stop this force which is threatening both the present and future," Pluto says. They are all listening to what Pluto is gonna say next.

When Sailor Earth walks towards Tux, who was thinking <Please don't start now> She, to his surprise, stands next to him and holds his hand. He knew that was a sign that she forgave him.

"Not only is there something wrong in the future, but I feel strange and..." before Pluto could finish, an evil laughter filled the air.

"Ha, of course you feel strange," Queen Danielle said appearing with an army of 15 different youmas behind her. The scouts knew it wasn't going to be easy.

Sailor Sun stood in front of the scouts, shielding them from the youmas. "Why are you doing this? Don't try and pretend that you’re really a scout," the queen said. "Have you forgotten that I created you?"

"What!?!" the other scouts exclaimed together while staring at Sun.

"Is this true?" Saturn said.

"I'm sorry for lying, but I have my true mission," Sun said transforming into her true form, which was an android.

"There's only one thing to do now. She must die," Saturn said.

"Noo! There has to be another way," Ruby said defending her friend.

"She must die, Ruby she's not human and what's not human and evil must die," Saturn said. "Slience Glavie!" Saturn said as her glavie shot out energy and aimed it at the android.

"Ahhh!!" the android screamed in pain as she died. Ruby fell to her knees crying.

"Senshi, ready to die? Or would you rather hand over the crystal now and spare your lives?" Danielle said.

"The real fight begins," Wind and Earth said in unison.

"Youmas attack!" the queen yelled as the 15 youmas attacked the scouts.

"Wind Tornado Sting!" Wind shouted. Tornadoes and hurricanes form behind her and strike a youma.

Saturn was fighting with a two youmas and was about to use her attack when 10 youmas appeared and took her away to Danielle's lair. "No, Saturn," Star said watching the event.

"Star Cosmic Blast!" she yelled as stars with yellow energy and sharp edges strike some youmas, but not hurting them.

Tux was fighting youmas, using his cane to fend off their attacks, when even more youmas surround him and teleported him.

"No!!!!!! Darien!! Earth Hurricane Shatter!" she screamed, but it was too late. Her new attack did hit 2 youmas, killing them instanly.

Queen Danielle disappeared laughing, with the youmas that were still alive. Her plan was shaping up the way she had thought. <What am I gonna do about Luna and Artemis?> she thinks.

"What happened here has gone," Wind said.

"We weren't ready," Pluto said. She teleported back to her post at the gates of time, for there was nothing more to be done.

"We'll be ready next time. We will get them back. I won't let that bitch take my brother," Moonlight Knight said in anger. With that said everyone left, except for Earth, who after they left detransformed back into Jessie. She was walking around the battle site and found a rose he had left behind. She picked it up, and with a tear in her eye, said, "I'm sorry."
