Note: Characters of Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon belong to the guy that created the manga Naoko Takeuchi and not me, but the characters besides that belong to me!

Author's note: I know I’m probably really pathetic when it comes to writing fanfics, but I do need everyone’s opinions on this one ^_^*. Whatever Japanese words I use in this story are the only ones I know. (Very small Japanese vocabulary.)

This series begins about six months after the big battle with Chaos.

PEACE SHATTERED
CHAPTER 1

Usagi and Mamoru are leaving the theatre, Usagi is nearly hyperventilating with laughter because of the movie they just saw (at Usagi’s insistence of course ^_^*). Even Mamoru has a grin on his face and he looks like he’s close to cracking.

Then the inevitable happens, Usagi is laughing so hard she doesn’t watch where she’s going and slams full force into someone, sprawling them both on the sidewalk. Usagi immediately jumps up and begins apologizing.

"Gomen nasai! Gomen! Gomen! Gomen! Gomen . . ." And continues on and on in her usual manner.

"Gomen, I wasn’t watching where I was going. The movie I just saw, Ace Ventura had me laughing too." The girl says as she begins picking up her papers, Usagi and Mamoru begin to help. The girl has violet eyes and waist length flaming red hair that’s done up in a braid. Mamoru studies one of the papers carefully before turning it towards the girl.

"Did you draw this?" He asked while pointing to the picture of the leaping Siberian Tiger.

She blushed furiously, that was all the answer he needed before handing the drawing over.

"Wow! These are good! What’s your name?" Usagi asked.

"Yoruno Neko." She responded shyly.

"I’m Tsukino Usagi! And this is my boyfriend Chiba Mamoru. Do you want us to give you a ride home? It’s awful late."

"Iie arigato, I don’t live far from here. But thank you for the offer."

The three friends said goodbye and went their separate ways. Neko was curious about the odd energy she felt inside her.

In her room, Usagi tried to sleep but couldn’t. The reality in Neko’s drawings had unnerved her, Luna sat down and tried to talk to her. Usagi broke and she told Luna everything.

"I don’t know Luna, I got this strange feeling while I was around her. It’s crossed my mind several times that she could be a new enemy but I refuse to believe such a shy girl . . ."

Neko was flipping through one of her ancient creatures books when she came upon the most beautiful dragon anyone could have laid eyes on, she stared at the ancient writing, unable to read it. But in the description of the picture is a legend of some sorts, experts don’t know what it is.

Neko smiles as she pulls out a large canvas and tries to see the spirit of the dragon as she begins the preliminary sketches.

Usagi is getting ready for bed when the communicator beeps, she pick it up and listens to Makoto.

"Usagi-chan! There’s a youma at the park!"

"I’ll be right there!" She closes the communicator and slips out the window.

When she gets to the park she transforms and gives her very used and mostly corny speech. Only then does she notice that the other Senshi are seriously thrashed, she was the only one that was conscious.

"You’re dust nega-creep! STARLIGHT HONEYMOON THERAPY KISS!"

The youma held up his hand and absorbed the final attack, Sailormoon stared with her jaw hanging, she knew she was in trouble.

The youma ran toward her, smiling evilly. But it suddenly stopped when there was the sound of snapping fingers.

"Penetrating the darkness of night, the air of freedom breaks through. We are the three sacred shooting stars."

"Sailor Starfighter!"

"Sailor Starhealer!"

"Sailor Starmaker!"

"Sailor Starlights, Stage On!" The trio yelled.

Sufficed to say, Usagi was more than shock to see them back on earth.

"I’m so glad to see you all! But what are you doing here?"

"Our princess said that you and the others would need our help." Starhealer paused as he/she looked around at the eight fallen Senshi. "No offense, but it sure looks like you do."

"No kidding! It laughed at my attack!"

The youma charged the Starmaker, who reacted instantly.

"STAR GENTLE UTERUS!"

The youma brushed off the attack just as it had Sailormoon’s attack. The Starlights were *very* shocked at this as they leaped out of the way. Then something happened, a giant claw grabbed the youma in mid-air. Sailormoon turned and screamed. And with the sight she met you wouldn’t blame her. For she had turned around and went face to face with a human sized scorpion. Beside the scorpion was a girl dressed in a Sailor fuku. The odd Senshi had an all white fuku, waist length flowing white hair, white eyes and was paler [than] Hotaru. That wasn’t the worst part though, the worst part was the fact she and the scorpion were partly transparent. Sailormoon did the only thing anyone would have done, she fainted. Starfighter ran to Sailormoon and made sure she was okay.

Meanwhile, the scorpion seemed to be gaining substance from the youma and was becoming less transparent. Starhealer and Starmaker just stared as the scorpion dropped the youma and the girl [said] something silently. When the strange Senshi had spoken her words a white, semi-transparent ball appeared in her hands and the youma disappeared. She smiled as all the Senshi began to wake up and vanished with the scorpion.

"That was . . ." Starhealer started, at an almost total loss for words.

Neko jolted awake to a sitting position, breathing hard. What was going on? Why did she have such a horrible headache? She looked around her room, confused, she didn’t know exactly what woke her up, but she assured herself she’d find out later by the time she had stumbled into the kitchen and made herself some tea for her headache.

<Why on earth does this feel like a hang-over headache? I know I never drank again after my first one.> She sighed as she finished her tea and walked back to her room the glowing digital clock taunted her when she saw that it was too late to go back to bed. Today she would officially be in her first year of high school and she was nervous. Neko got her paints and continued working on the ancient dragon.

"It was so scary I tell you!" Usagi hissed to her friends. "You could see right through her and that giant scorpion!" She stopped when the new girl passed her and called out to her.

"Neko-san!" Usagi called. "Wanna sit with us?"

Neko looked stunned and muttered a thank you before she nervously sat down.

"These are my friends Neko-san, these are Rei, Mako-chan, Mina-chan and Ami-chan. Minna, this is Neko, we sort of ran into each other yesterday."

"I imagine!" Rei snorted. Neko looked uncomfortable and Ami leaned over.

"I know you’re really nervous, don’t be. We’re all your friends here."

Neko blushed.

"You’re the only friends I’ve had since I came here two weeks ago."

"We are?" Rei suddenly asked.

"Hai, I’m usually so busy that I don’t often meet other people."

"Busy with what? Studying?" Makoto wondered.

"That too. I have to hold a part time job."

"Why? Aren’t your parents working?" Minako asked gently.

Neko suddenly looked like she was about to cry.

"What’s wrong Neko-san?" Usagi asked as she put a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"I . . . I live alone. My parents . . . were . . . murdered not long ago and I had to move. I’ve got no relatives." She stammered before beginning to sob quietly.

*************************

"Black Flame! Come forth!" Thundered a menacing voice.

"What is your wish lord?"

"I want that Saber and Scabbard! Find them, and we rule the dimensions! But beware, Ryulithe has already chosen his champion."

"Yes lord, I will search all of these pathetic humans for them." He bows and vanishes

Minako had apologized to Neko for asking about her parents and now the girls were at Crowns, talking.

"I sketch and paint as a hobby albeit a sometimes costly one . . . Just yesterday I found a picture of a dragon and I couldn’t resist! There was a legend attached to it but the one who wrote the book hadn’t been able to translate it."

"That is strange, what’s the title of the book?" Ami asked.

"Ancient creatures of long ago. I have it right here." She said as she pulled out the book and handed it to Ami.

She opened up to the bookmark and studied the dragon closely, she then studied the legend.

"This is extremely unusual as that I have the same book yet it is without this page. My book shows no signs of mutilation in the vicinity where this page should be."

"Would you mind repeating that in Japanese for us Ami-chan? There are some here who don’t know English or techno-talk." Makoto sighed. Ami turned red, sometimes she inadvertently switched languages.

"I said that it’s strange I have the same book but there’s no sign that this page or any page was ripped or cut out."

"Oh!" Minna said.

"Hey odango!"

Everyone turned their heads and saw the lights coming their way. Neko, who was just getting comfortable around the girls squirmed and turned red as her hair as Seiya, Yaten, and Taiki came over and sat down. This time Usagi noticed her discomfort and made with the introductions.

"Neko-chan, these are our friends, Kou Seiya, Kou Yaten and Kou Taiki. Guys, this is Yoruno Neko, she’s very shy."

She gave a small smile and shook their hands before looking at her watch.

"Aiee! I’m going to be late for work! Gomen nasai minna, but I’ve got to go!" She gasped as she gathered her things and ran off, she left Ami with her book. But a sheet fell gently to the floor from her sketch book and landed beside Yaten.

"I can’t believe she has to work on [Sundays] as well!" Minako said.

"Ara, what’s this?" Yaten said as he picked it up and looked at it.

"Nani!?" He gasped.

"Daijobu Yaten?" Taiki asked.

"Look at this!" He said shakily as he handed Taiki the picture. Taiki actually gasped as he laid it on the table for everyone to see. Minna gasped. It’s a very rough sketch of Sailor Starhealer.

"She must have been watching us from the bushes last night!" Seiya muttered.

"Matte, look at the date in the corner!" Ami said. The date indicated the day they were fighting Sailor Cop. They all breathed a sigh of relief.

Neko walked into work and saw a large package waiting for her. She opened it and found an ostrich sized crystalline egg. Neko felt some very strong energy from it and put it carefully in her bag to study later.
