Hello Everyone! This story might seem OOC, so DEAL WITH IT! Also, this has YAOI, so there. Don't tell me I didn't warn you, cuz I did. And there is a lot of dialogue in here, so I'm sorry if you can't figure out who is saying what. Go ahead and flame me if you can't understand it. This is part four of this fic.
Oh yeah, and all characters belong to their original owners, blah blah blah, disclaimers and that kind of crap apply, yada, yada...
Silence.
"Hiei?" Kurama looked up at Hiei. Hiei's face was impassive as ever, but with a hint of softness. Kurama sat up on the bed, then stood up and started to leave. "Oh. That's how it is. Well Hiei, when you come back to the Ningenkai, remember that I'll be waiting for you. If you come back." Kurama turned and walked out. "Wait Kurama!" Hiei wanted to chase after him, but he couldn't will himself to get up. "Oh, Kurama..."
Kurama left the Makai, sobbing his heart out. He knew that Hiei loved him, he saw it in his eyes. But, it seemed that he wanted to be with Mukuro too. He couldn't help but feel jealous now. He had many lovers, but he never truly loved someone. Not as much as he loved his little fire demon. He cried some more on his way home.
Hiei laid back down, after Kurama had left. What just happened? he thought. Did I do something? Hiei closed his eyes and fell into a deep sleep, dreaming about a particular red haired, green eyed human...
Terra sat in a corner of the room that Mukuro had let her stay in. She sat leaning against the wall, her knees held up to her chest. Quietly, she cried, hot tears flowing down her cheeks. She felt terrible. Why? Why me, of all people. I have to find my sister, but how can I with that... monster living there. I couldn't protect myself, much less rescue anyone. How am I supposed to protect someone when I can't even protect myself? Terra got and lay on the bed, and cried herself to sleep.
"Oh Master Zeiram? What's the matter with my lord?" Gaia walked up to her master and bowed down. Zeiram looked at her and got a wicked idea in his perverted head. "Hmmm... I think tonight, I'll relieve my stress with some of the girls, including you my sweet Gaia..."
The next morning, Hiei awoke and walked to Mukuro's room. "Hey! Mukuro? Let me in." The door swung open and Hiei walked inside. He saw Mukuro, sitting at her desk, still trying to fix her arm. "Damn that Zeiram," she muttered. "If it wasn't for him, I would be able to train with you, but my arm keeps malfunctioning." Hiei just grunted his agreement and sat down next to her. "Hiei, get me that power drill, will ya?" Hiei got up, got the drill and handed it to her. "Thanks." *Drill, Drill* "There. I think it should work now," Mukuro said as she flexed her mechanical arm. "It feels right. Okay Hiei, let's go."
Terra watched from her room as Hiei and Mukuro left for the training area. Now's my chance, she thought as she quietly snuck out of her room and leaped out the window. She landed outside with a *thud* and ran towards the tear gem factory. I don't need Hiei's help. I don't need anyone's help. I can rescue the koorimes on my own...
Yusuke and Kuwabara watched as Keiko and Yukina talked about naming the baby. "Y'know Kuwabara, I think me n' Keiko might have a kid someday." "You should, Urameshi," Kuwabara replied. "The fact that you're gonna be a father makes you feel lighter than air." "Much like your head, eh Kuwabara?" "YUSUKE!"
Kurama had a strange feeling at the back of his head. He felt that he should turn back. Something was wrong, very wrong. "Hiei? No, it doesn't feel like anything's wrong with Hiei... Terra!" Kurama turned around and raced back towards Mukuro's castle.
At the same time in the Koorime village, Kione had the same feeling. She looked out the window. Oh, Terra. Please find your sister... and please, be careful.
Terra ran through the forest, and down into the valley that held the tear gem factory. I'm coming sis, whether you know it or not... She ran to the back of the factory, and went in the same way as last time. I will rescue you, all of you. She ducked into one of the rooms when a guard walked by. She was very good at sneaking around and found herself, once again, in the main throne room. Last time, she had entered from the front, but this time she had entered from the left.
Kurama arrived at Mukuro's castle, for the second time that day. He walked in, and this time, the guards didn't stop him. He called out to Hiei. "Hiei? Where are you?" In the training area, Hiei heard his voice. "Kurama? Mukuro, I thought I heard Kurama." "I'm sure its your imagination. Keep training." Hiei shrugged and continued his training. "Hiei!" Kurama ran towards the ki. He opened the door to the training area. There, he saw Hiei and Mukuro locked in combat. He was about to jump up and help, when he noticed that the swords they were using were made out of wood. Whew, he thought. "Hey! Hiei, have you seen Terra?" Mukuro and Hiei stopped training. "Huh? Terra?" Hiei ran to her room, followed by Mukuro and Kurama. They arrived at Terra's room, to find the window open and Hiei looking out of the window. "She... She's gone!"
Weird... she thought as she quietly snuck through the crowds of women dancing around. Zeiram was nowhere to be seen. The women were all prisoners, Terra noticed, as she saw all the slave crowns on their heads. I've got to set them free somehow. But in a way that won't attract attention. She looked around the throne for some sort of switch that would give her control of the crowns, but all she found was parts of her dress, and some spare money. Damn! He must have taken it with him... Terra stopped her thoughts when she spotted a door on the far right side of the room. She ran to it and listened to the sounds. Either this is a sound proof room, or there's nothing inside to make noise, she reasoned as she quietly opened the door...
Mukuro looked down from the window. "She jumped down, and it looks like she headed north." Kurama and Hiei looked at each other, and said in unison, "The tear gem factory!" Kurama and Hiei jumped out the window and took off after her. "Be careful," Mukuro whispered.
As Kurama and Hiei ran through the forest, Hiei managed to catch a glance of his beautiful fox. But he noticed something was wrong. "Is something wrong, kitsune?" Hiei said as they ran. Then Kurama stopped. Hiei stopped and backtracked, standing in front of Kurama, who was now kneeling on the dirt. "Well? What's wrong?" Kurama looked at him with eyes brimming with tears. "Oh Hiei, it's nothing, really, its nothing." Hiei went on his knees to look at him, eye to eye. "You sound like you're trying to convince yourself. Tell me." Kurama looked at him, looked away, then started talking, so quietly that Hiei strained to hear him. "I... Do you... Do you love me?" "Of course I do, silly fox. I love you with all my heart." Kurama smiled a little, then continued. "Then... how come you won't tell me why your coat was in Mukuro's room?" Silence "Damn it Hiei, there you go with the silent treatment again. Tell me!" Kurama took Hiei's shoulders and shook him.
"Hiei, I'm sorry. I just feel..."
"Jealous?"
"Yes... But you don't love her, do you?"
"Well..."
"Hiei!" Kurama looked at Hiei with disbelief. Then he got up and ran away, towards the factory. "Wait Kurama!" "I don't want to!" Hiei watched as Kurama ran away from him, tears trickling down both their faces.
Terra opened the door and immediately shielded her eyes. Three girls were all asleep in a pile, tired and exhausted from a full night of pleasure. On top of the pile was Zeiram, also asleep. Good, they're all asleep. That gives me a chance to escape. She backed out and started to close the door when one of the girls woke up and saw her. Shoot! she thought as she closed the door completely and rushed through the rows of dancing girls. She realized she was in trouble up to her neck. I'm in deep crap...
Hiei wiped his tears and caught up with Kurama, tackling him to the ground, and putting him on his back so he could lie down on top of him. Hiei wiped Kurama's tears from his face and said softly, "Kitsune, I didn't mean that kind of love. I love Mukuro as a SISTER, you got that? There is no one that could replace you. I'll love you until I die, and even then I'll still love you. Okay?" Kurama started crying again, but this time, they were tears of joy. How could I have ever doubted Hiei's love? I'm such an idiot. Kurama reached up and pulled Hiei's lips to his, and they shared a passionate kiss. "Ai shiteru, Hiei." "Ai shiteru, Kurama."
Terra ran through the hallways, suddenly at a loss to where she was or where she was going. Dammit! I'm lost, she thought bitterly as she continued to run up and down hallways to find a way out. When I find my way out of here, I'm making myself a map... If I get out...
