Hello Everyone! This story might seem OOC, so DEAL WITH IT! Also, this has YAOI, so there. Don't tell me I didn't warn you, cuz I did. And there is a lot of dialogue in here, so I'm sorry if you can't figure out who is saying what. Go ahead and flame me if you can't understand it. This is part five of this fic.
Oh yeah, and all characters belong to their original owners, blah blah blah, disclaimers and that kind of crap apply, yada, yada...
Hiei and Kurama ran through the forest, towards the castle. They had to find Terra before it was too late. "Why do you think she went off by herself Hiei?" Hiei replied, "Hn. She's like me. Independent and self-serving." Kurama just grunted an agreement and continued to run.
Terra ran down a long hallway situated on the west side of the castle. Damn. Terra was lost in a castle she didn't want to be in. Not that she wanted to be in any castle, but she definitely didn't want to be stuck in this castle. How am I gonna get outta here? Maybe I can jump out a window... She ran towards a window. She looked down and saw many, MANY thorn bushes and brier patches. Crap. She had to find a way out, without hurting herself too seriously.
Kurama and Hiei reached the edge of the forest towards the clearing where the castle lay looming in front of them. "Well Kurama," Hiei muttered, "Let's go." They jumped forward and ran to the castle. They jumped into one of the back windows and started to search for Terra's ki. There was a faint glimmering of ki where the central chamber was. And it felt like Terra's.
Terra decided it was best if she could make it back to the central chamber so she could retrace her steps. She ran back the way she had come, stopping for breath every once in a while. She made it to the central chamber, hoping that no one would spot her again. Amazingly enough, no one had noticed her come in the first place. So she decided to just find the other door that would lead her way out. Then she heard a noise at one of the walls and ducked behind the throne and lowered her ki level.
Just at that moment, Hiei and Kurama also entered the central chamber, surprised to find two ki that felt very similar. One was very weak and coming from behind the throne, and the other one was coming from behind a door beside the throne. Then they could no longer feel the ki coming from behind the throne, so Hiei decided to open the door leading to the other person's ki. Kurama followed close behind, while Terra watched them, waiting to see what would happen.
Hiei opened the door and saw the three girls lying in a pile next to an exhausted Zeiram. Hiei drew out his sword and walked towards them all with cat-like stealth when one of the girls caught his eye. She looked almost like Terra, except that she didn't have the furry ears and golden eyes. She had aqua blue eyes but her hair was still bright silver, like her sister's. Kurama quietly whispered, "Gaia?" The girl woke up and was about to scream, when Hiei put his hand over her mouth and dragged her out of the room. When they were safely out of the room, Hiei closed the door and pushed her onto the floor. The girl looked at them with horror written all across her face. "Wh... Who are you? What do you want with me?" Kurama kneeled down to face her. "It's me, your father." Kurama shifted into youko form and looked at her with fatherly eyes.
At that moment, Terra decided to come up from behind the throne to stand beside Hiei. She looked at her long lost twin, and slowly, began to smile. "Hey sis. Long time, no see." Gaia looked at them all with questioning eyes. "You're not my father, and I have no sister. Zeiram's the only family I've had." Both Terra and Kurama freaked. Hiei calmly said, "They are your family. Zeiram's been using you for sex and tear gems." Gaia looked at him angrily. "That's a lie! He loves me! I don't want to believe you!" But one look at Terra and Gaia felt a tie, a bond between twins that she had always felt, but never realized.
