Well, here comes the break. As I move on
in the effort to create version 3.0.0 of Toonami: The Unofficial I need
to stop in trying to work with this page. I'll go ahead and update
the page when I have something really worth while to put up. Until
then, expect very, very, VERY little to be put up on the page. See
you at version 3.0.0.

This is what happens, I guess, if you don't keep
an eye on the Cartoon Network's Toonami site. The first Toonami contest
from the Cartoon Network in some time, Sailor Moon is the subject of affection
here. This contest apparently started on Monday, where the object
is you, the fan, must find the sailor scout that is hidden somewhere on
Cartoon Network's site. Enter your email once you've found the scout,
and you're entered to win prizes. That simple.

Not as much news as it is your reminder to get
some videos'. Dragonball Z will be producing two more tapes as they
continue to translate over epiosdes for the dragonball hungry fans.
Both can be ordered from the official Dragonball Z site (www.dragonballz.com)
edited and unedited:
Frieza: The Summoning - Episodes 61 - 63
Frieza: Transformation - Episodes 63 - 66
In the meantime, work continues on the Sailor Moon movie videos/DVD's. For now you can go ahead and preorder your copies of the three Sailor Moon features - Romance, Super, and SuperS. All are expected to be released on August 10th and all will be in Japanese text with English subtitles. This will be your chance to see Sailor Moon as it's meant to be, in it's raw, unedited format:
Sailor
Moon R in English subtitles - $20.99 US from Amazon.com
Sailor Moon S in English Subtitles - $20.99 US from Amazon.com
Sailor Moon SuperS in English Subtitles - $20.99 US from Amazon.com

Well, just about everyone else except me figured
out this schedule. Jeff Harris's CN2 site already had the schedule
for Saturday Toonami up and several of you had emailed me letting me know
what it was. I had to do some major digging at TV
Guide.com to get this info. Go figure, at the surface, every
time zone has different things listed for what will be on the Saturday
Toonami, but when you select Cartoon Network to view their 24 hour schedule,
you find the same things, and here are the shows with their times, all
EASTERN:
12.0 AM - Dragonball Z
12.5 AM - Powerpuff Girls
12.75 AM - Sailor Moon
1.25 AM - Reboot
1.75 AM - Dragonball Z
2.25 AM - Sailor Moon
2.75 AM - Thundercats
3.25 AM - Robotech
3.75 AM - Voltron
4.25 AM - Real Adventures of Johny Quest
4.75 AM - Super Adventures (which should be the
filler shows like Space Ghost, Birdman, Superman and such)
minute intervals ( .0 - :00 ; .25 - :15 ; .5 -
:30 ; .75 - :45 ) minute intervals
So stop what you're doing and get in. Enjoy the ride come Saturday night. You've got alot of Tooning to do.

Three years after it's humble beginnings, Toonami
takes another bold leap. Just announced on Cartoon Networks Toonami
page is the expansion of Toonami. While it isn't an expansion of
the 4pm to 6pm Toonami we all know and love, it's still huge nonetheless.
Starting on July 10th, the 12:30am Dragonball Z will be getting company
and Toonami will be getting a new family member. From 12 am to 4:30
pm you'll be seeing:
The Powerpuff Girls
Sailor Moon
Dragonball Z
Thundercats
Robotech
Voltron
and of course...
The Real Adventures of Johny Quest
Exact schedule is still being researched, but rest assured, if you don't get your Toonami fix during the evening, you now will have a second chance to get it.

Dragonball Z fans out there, I have seen the emails,
and instead of replying to each one and explaining the same thing, I'm
gonna say it here. Toonami has had DBZ for some time now, and the
first time though this was a major hassle. Now the ghosts of the
past have returned. Alot of grief has been made as you watched 'Goku..
Super Sayian??' and then saw the series loop back to 'The Arrival of Radditz.'
The reason?? Because, only 53 episodes of DBZ were translated.
That excludes the movies, which have been made into episodes. That
53rd episode, 'Goku... Super Sayian' did have a preview for the next episode,
and alot of us the first time around expected to see the battle between
Goku, Jace, and Berter. That was not to be. So for about 5
or 6 times now, the series has looped over and over again, ending at 'Super
Sayian' and then seeing Radditz arrive again.
New episodes of DBZ are in the works. 7 have already been translated and are available on video and I think DVD. By the fall, Toonami should be ready to air those 7 and possibly more DBZ episode, ending the long torturous wait. Until then, all must have to deal with the 53 looping episodes. It's a pain, and it's getting old, but Cartoon Network doesn't control this, and more importantly, nor do I.

Okay, you heard the ranting above. Cartoon
Networks' Toonami page has an announcement on it's data screen. This
summer we will get the chance to get closer to some of our friends - Sailor
Moon, Reboot, and Dragonball Z - while reacquainting ourselves with some
old friends - Thundercats, Robotech, and I think Voltron. Fellow
Toonami bud, Jeff Harris, has made some headway here, but I don't want
to put up that news until I'm totally sure about it myself, y'know.
But it seems big... really big. The revolution is beginning to bear
some major fruits. What's next... new series? If we're lucky,
and if we keep moving on strong.

Just covering what I did before. After I
got Professor Tomoe from a Sailor Moon adoption agency, an idea flashed
into the helmet. What if there was a Toonami based adoption agency?!?
You want to own a Moltar? Remember, I like it when the temperature
is a balmy 1200 degrees. Maybe you would like to adopt Goku, or how
about one of your favorite series villains? I'm working on this one
at the moment , so be patient.

My head still hurts from all that dragonball.
HFIL Week wrapped up on Saturday last week with the three Dragonball Z
features. Now it's back to the same old, same old, with Sailor Moon,
Reboot, and Johny Quest taking up their residence again. I know some
of you have seen some the new third season episodes, and aren't too happy
with what's going on. But at least you have the good ol' days still
at hand. Who knows. Now that the talent is getting into their
parts, DBZ could be experiencing a revolution of it's own with all the
new episodes expected out. I'm sure there will be little disappointing
moments from this point on (unless those guys who are dubbing it don't
learn from their mistakes, but I've said too much anyway).
