One of the most common questions that I am asked is, "Why did you choose to do a page about a character with such little coverage?"

That's a very good question.

Well, Tellu is probably one of the least appreciated character among villains in SM. Not only is her appearance brief, but in the Anime Newtype Filmbook, she doesn't appear at all. She is shown in shadows when Mimete dies, but after that, they skip straight to the next witch.

It may seem rather shallow, but I liked Tellu from the way she looks before I knew what her character was like. I mean.. she just looked cool.

I can identify with her love for plants. She was one of the witches who had at least a little bit of compassion for something. A self-less love for plants.

Something that annoys me, if not more than slightly, is how she is, in fact, ignored. She almost killed Sailor Pluto, and if not for Pluto, she would've finished off Chibimoon.

Her voice and her mannerisms just appealed to me. She kicks so much butt in the manga, I can't begin to describe it.

The final reason why I made this site is because nobody had made a Tellu shrine before. There was information out there about her, sure, but there was never another shrine. I had the first shrine, and I am kind of proud of that, because other shrines are popping up to this underappreciated character now.
