UPDATE 3/22: "DANCEMANIA"

As you can see below, my work is influenced by Akira Toriyama(Dragonball) and Eichiro Oda(One Piece), among others. One thing you will NOT see here, boys and girls, is any computer "coloring"...see my profile for more info on that, hehheh...
I generally ink with Higgin's Black Magic or Art Color Manga Ink, Hunt pens(when trapped in the U.S.) and a much better Nikko G-pen or Kabura Pen when in Japan, and use Micron Pigmas for technical work.

-9/99- DANCEMANIA!! Your erstwhile artist himself, along with his girlfriend, drawn while sitting at a cozy table for four at Denny's...anyway, see, I put it up! Are you happy now, cutie?? Luma inks on (gasp!) Bienfang Bristol.

-9/99- SKIN vs PUNK!! A little piece of pub mayhem in manga style; I think I may do more pieces without a BG like this...Of course it goes without saying this is a traditional non-racist skinhead, kids!!! Anyway, me no like punkers, so this boot's for you!!Luma inks on Maxxon board.

-3/99- RETRO STYLEEE! An experiment in some strange color tones, with the figures rendered in B/W..worked out allright, despite the crappy scanning...Luma inks on Maxxon board.

-8/99- BEAT DOWN! This smooth urban poet was one of my first attempts at doing some contrast shading with blue. Worked out fine, till I annihilated the effect with a bad bg color......ARGH!...Luma inks on Crescent board.

-7/99- DRAGON HACKER!! This yuusha("hero")has just finished the dirty job of slaying what had been eating the town virgins for the past month......no, not Humbert Humbert of Lolita fame, a dragon... Luma inks on Crescent board.

-1/99- RUDE, RUDE RYUUGAKUSEI! "Ryuugakusei" is Japan-speak for "exchange student", my current occupation in Osaka. As to the "rude" part, well.....anyway, this is actually my former roomate at the ryuugakusei dorm and I, dressed in our ska finery and drawn in a pseudo-SD style. Yeah, I'm the shorty on the left. Luma inks on Bienfang bristol.

-2/99- ORIGINAL RUDE BWOI STYLEE!! Jamaica's original gangster, like the yakuza chinpira, but with good taste in music. Like Derrick Morgan says, "When a Rude Boy dem pon probation, dem Rude Boys bomb up the town..." Luma inks on Maxxon hot-press board.
