Before update
Hey all. Now that your here, you probably want to know a little bit about me, and my motives. I am a 17 year old male, and I am a serious moonie. I am not ashamed about it, although I was at first. Now I look back, and try to think about why I was ashamed. Sailor Moon is a great show, partly because of the high quality animation, but mostly because it is hilarious. The relationships between the scouts almost seem real, and at times, I am in hysterics over events.
This may come as a shock to you all, but I used to hate Sailor Moon. Yup, that's right. I made fun of my sister for watching it. Then one day, I was at my computer, and the TV was on. Sailor Moon came on, and i decided to watch it, because I was too lazy to change the channel. As I was watching it, I decided this is a really cool show, and that I should watch it on a day-to-day basis. Pretty soon, I got hooked on it, and started surfing the Internet for Sailor Moon pages, which I found a lot of. Right now, I cringe at the thought of what I might be like right now if I had changed that channel.
As you may have guessed, my favorite scout is Sailor Mars. She is so awesome, because I like fire, and I love the way she reacts with her friends, and her personality in general. There is still a lot of stuff I do not know about her, because I started watching the DiC versions of Sailor Moon. I have read all about the butchering they have done to Sailor Moon. I know that some of the funniest parts were cut from it, because of innapropriate (I think I spelled that right) humor. I remember the part during the Nega-Moon episodes, when emerald takes control of all of those animals. When that dog pissed on her foot near the end of the episode, I was literally rolling around on the ground laughing. I almost busted a gut. It was great, and the next time i saw that episode, they cut it out! PISS ME OFF! Also, when Reeny comes along, they cut out the part with the gun. That was kinda lame that they did that, but hey.. I see where they're coming from.
If you want to know how absolutely obsessed I am with Sailor Moon, I'll tell you. During this past summer, I had to take golf, which occurred right when Sailor Moon was on TV. I was so pissed during those weeks, because I missed Sailor Moon. I often went into rages where I couldn't stop shaking, I was so ticked-off because of missing Sailor Moon. I have posters all over my walls, I filled a 1-inch binder with color pictures I have printed of Sailor Moon, and I even have the Soundtrack CD, and the Lunarock CD. The CDs show that I am completely obsessed, because I usually hate that kind of music. I listen to punk, and if the songs on the Soundtrack/Lunarock CDs were not Sailor Moon related, I'd probably hate them too. But they ARE Sailor Moon related, so I love them. I even have a Sailor Mars keychain. Another neat thing, is that I play guitar. I really stink at it, but if the distortion and volume is up high enough, I sound pretty good ;) I took all sorts of stickers, and plastered my guitar with them. I have three stickers of each scout on my guitar. I have taped all the episodes that I can, which makes around oh.. 55 episodes. That's.. 55 episodes x 20 minutes each... 1100 minutes, or 18 hours 20 minutes of episodes on tape. 13 of those episodes are the Doom Tree Series, which I bought from Amazon.com. I am also looking to buy Sailor Moon R, Sailor Moon S, and Sailor Moon SuperS movies. I think I may have someone to buy them from, but they might be scamming me, I don't know. If I don't recieve the three movies within the next month or two, I'll add a request section to this site.
I am not just interested in Sailor Moon. (Although that is my favorite anime by far) I also like Dragon Ball Z a lot. I have all three of the dubbed, uncut movies, and wallscrolls all over my room. (That's if you can see them between all the Sailor Moon posters/wallscrolls ;) ) I also like Macross, or Robotech. Don't know much about it, but if it's on, I'll be ecstatic to sit down and watch it. Besides anime, I like to mud. Mud is a multi-user dungeon. It's a roleplay game, that is all text, where you adventure around and kill monsters with other players. VERY addictive. for those of you who do mud, I mud on Imperial DikuMUD. My character's name is Geist, just in case any of you know me. :) I like to listen to punk music. Not the common, trendy crap like NOFX, and Green Day. I like the bands that not any people know of. Bands like Ghoti Hook, ALL, Descendents, Guttermouth, Avail, and Squad-Five-O. I also listen to metal, such as Metallica, Sevendust, Godsmack, and various others. I HATE ska, rap, and hip-hop. I can't stand ska the most, tho. It pains me to hear it.

After update
I'm now 20 (21 in august) years old attending the Colorado School of Mines' computer science department. Lots has changed since I last updated this site and many of you probably found this as a one shot site, never to visit it again. That's a good thing, because I haven't updated it in over three years ;) I'm going to keep this brief, as it's 30 seconds into thursday (0:00:30) and I'm going to bed soon.
Most of my interests have stayed the same. I'm not AS big into sailor moon as I used to be. My tastes have branched off into such animes as evangelion, iria, trigun, tenchi muyo, battle angel, ghost in the shell, etc. I don't watch much anime anymore, but it's still a high interest of mine. Hell, I have wallscrolls of sailor moon and evangelion in my room, along with an evangelion background on my comp ;). As far as music goes, my favorite bands right now are Tool, Stavesacre, Linkin Park, Stereo Mud, Screeching Weasel, Guttermouth, Ghoti Hook, ALL/decendents, and other punkish/metalish stuff.
Not long after my last update to this page, my parents started their divorce. Separation lasted damn near 2 years, and hell during the divorce of a year later. 3 years of parents fighting, bickering, and whatnot can really bog a man down. My mom lives in generally the same area, while my dad moved closer to denver. I lived with my dad during my freshman year of college. I'm now living in a one bedroom apartment closer to the school. I play guitar in a band (no gigs yet, we're still practicing) and enjoy that very much. My sister is BIG into anime and we've become close since I moved away from my mom. We're like best friends now, and it's great.
Anyway, I managed to get a more recent picture of me. I'll keep a link to the old one. This page has more historical significance to me now, that's why I'm keeping the previous "my two cents" rant.
I apologize for any typos that happen, punctuation errors that occur, etc etc. I'm just too lazy to proofread right now ;)

The main difference in my appearance is longer hair, faster facial hair growth (rofl, it's been almost 4 years!), and a tattoo on my right arm that I got when I was 18.
