If you have a web page you'd like to see listed here, let me know at kel5482@p3.net or use the form at the index. Sonime-related sites would be especially appeciated... ...Oh, and if you like this site, go right ahead and add it your links page. Telling me about it would be nice, but not necessary... a little extra publicity never hurt anyway! :) |
SONIME SITES | MISCELLANEOUS | FANFIC SITES | WEBRINGS | OTHER
Kiken's Sonic Den - A Japanese Sonic-themed site with lyrics, pictures, movies, info, and a section on the Sonime, of course. Includes some Japanese pictures and video game cheats. In short, Sonic with a Japanese slant. The kanji site counter is a nice touch, too. Run by Kiken Enryu (Charles Mugg) (cmugg1@gl.umbc.edu).
The Sonic Anime Sector - A site totally devoted to the anime with .WAV files, pictures, episode reviews, and a great layout too. Sadly, it can't be updated anymore, since the GeoCities user password got lost, but what's there is definitely worth looking at. Run by Razor J. Masters (sonic_sector@juno.com).
Sonic Anime Page at Land's End - A really good site owned by Jaye Kitsumi, with reviews, pics, and a couple links about the anime. A good site to check out for general information as well as lots of images.
Anime Screen Grabs - What more can I say? A whole major directory of Sonime screen grabs. If you wanna see em, click away, but be patient while they load. Run by Paul Lapensee (butcher@iaw.on.ca).
Sega of America, Ltd. - The American branch of Sega Enterprises, this page has lots of bells and whistles - a Sonic merchandise store, information pages, new releases info, a page on Sonic cart ideas, and—the last time I checked—some chat rooms. It's pretty graphic-intensive, though, so be patient while it loads.
Paul Lapensee's Page A site with lots of pictures, since that's the owner's specialty. Features LOTS of animated .gifs and even a directory of anime files (see above). Reccomened only for those who can stand the wait while the graphics load. Run by Paul Lapensee (butcher@iaw.on.ca).
Sega Enterprises of Japan - The homebase for Sega news and projects. As if this didn't need saying, it's all in Japanese, so unless you got your browser from your Japanese buddy, you won't get anything itelligible. For the Eigo speakers, click here to get the English index. The page also features Japanese music and movies, plus a page on the Japanese gambling game of Pachinko. Also a very graphic-heavy page, so sit tight while it downloads.
Alessandro Sanasi's Sonic Info Page - Information on all facets of Sonic fan-life on the Net. Includes Sonic product news, and pages on books, games, comics, a great links page, and yes, even a site about the Sonime. A very thorough page, and one I would reccomend. Run by Alessandro Sanasi (tyro@deco.franken.de).
Max's Sonic Zone - A GREAT page, with awesome graphics and lots of sections to visit. Comic scans (color!), US and UK comic news, pictures, sounds, MIDI music, anime files, and a copy of the Sonic Code ver1.1. Highly reccommened! Go on, check it out! Run by Maximillian (maxi@sonic.net).
The (Slightly) Deranged Sonic the Webhog Page - An ever-changing page with comic reviews, a fanfic index, links, a guestbook, and some other extras too. Run by Jim Doe (lowery@yournet.com).
Skyla's Site - One of my e-mail buddy's sites. Features a couple furry pictures, profiles, and stories. Very nice graphics, thanks to Skyla's older brother Rebel (I hope she doesn't mind if I say that). Oh, and look for my name in the main index. :) Run by Skyla (rebel@power-tech.net).
Johnny K's Page - A good-looking page, but is still under construction. Some pages including Sonic R, and a guestbook, which someone has been using to bother him with. :) Run by Johnny K. (Sonic46953@aol.com).
The Dimension of Maverick-7 - A good-looking spot featuring fanfic, story art, a section on the Archie (US) Sonic comic, and links. Run by Maverick-7 (maverick-7@geocities.com).
Ximmer's Homepage - Skyla's brother's place. He trashed his old page and is making a new one, so right now there isn't much, but knowing him, it'll be good when it's done...! Run by Ximmer (rebel@power-tech.net).
The Sonic Sector - The parent page of the Sonic Anime Sector, this page has its own anime site, fan game and fan art archives, and some RealAudio mixes done by Razor himself. Definitely worth a look. Run by Razor J. Masters (sonic_sector@juno.com)
Land's End - A page with a lot going for it. Some really good graphix, a link to its siter page Kitsuimi Studios, plus a way past cool anime page, Knuckles comix review, fanfic, fan art, links, and more! Run by Seth Spine/Jaye Kitsumi (soniku@technologist.com).
Sonic
& Spark - The Ultimate Sonic Fan Page - Run by the same
Spark of the fanfic message board, here's his personal page. Info on Sonic,
pictures, a Tails clock download (for Win95), and links to other pages
and his fanfic, as well as a guestbook. Run by Spark (spark@customcpu.com).
The Freedom Fighter Network - A page with a very polished look, enforcing the fact that you've just hacked into Robotnik's Robotropolis mainframe. A guestbook, Sonic news, info, graphics, and a big resources and links page. Run by Casey "Tails" Yates (tails@dcez.com).
The Ice Cap Zone - A cool (there's a bad joke) page run by SlvrSonic@aol.com.
Blue Gibbon's Page
Mastermind's
Vault of Sonic Fan Fiction - A very good selection of fanfic, with
a main section, and seperate pages devoted to accomplished fanfic writers'
works. Also, the Main Vault Entrance has several links about copyrighting
stories. The only problem is the the owner Mastermind is havng trouble
keeping his page updated, so updates are not very frequent. Owned by Mastermind
(lhwoods@northernnet.com). Bookshire's
Knothole Public Library - Bookshire Draftwood is the keeper of
this virtual Mobian library. This spot is very well sectioned off into
main, secondary, and miscellaneoous universes, as well as interactive fanfic
and mature fanfic (extra blood and gore, etc.). Several personal pages
are there too. Owned by Bookshire (bookshire@usa.net). Jarel
Jones' Fanfic Collection -
A site at GeoCites with links to fanfic by noted Sonic authors. Run by
Jarel Jones (arrowhh@geocities.com). Spark's
Fanfic Message Board -
A message board frequented by both fanfic writers and readers. Authors
of Sonic fan fiction (myself included) can go there and announce new works,
or just to hang out and chat about other peoples' stories. Moderated by
Spark. (spark@customcpu.com). Webring--The
Shape of Things to Come... - One of the most fastest-growing Net-surfing
enterprises, WebRing makes themed rings of sites connected by a CGI script.
With well over 17,000 rings already, and quite a few Sonic rings, WebRing
is the place to go to join a ring, search through the existing rings, or
get a ring of your very own! Created by Sage Weil (sage@newdream.com). The
Sonic Power Ring - There are gobs of Sonic rings on the net, but
this is probably the most well-known ring of them all, with about 200 members,
including this site. Any site about Sonic or related characters can join
up. Ringmaster: Jeff Read (bitwize@geocities.com). The
Sonic Fan Ring - This is another big-time webring, pretty much
the same as the Power Ring. If you have a site about Sonic or anything
Mobian, you can get in the ring. Ringmaster: Bradster (bradster2@hotmail.com). The
FLiCKiE Island Webring - Not as big or as well known as the above
two, but same principle: any Sonic or Sonic-related site is eligible.
Ringmaster (or is it Ringmistress?): Silver Star (websurfer@cybergal.com). The Anime Otaku Ring - A
pretty big-time anime ring featuring anime fan sites of all kinds. Ringmaster:
xcalibur-kun@geocities.com. Cool
List - The list server that used to host the Sonic Mailing List. It'll host
a free mailing list for you, no problems, but it tacks little adverts onto the end
of every letter. If you can put up with them, go ahead and check it out. Thankfully,
the list ditched it a while ago... The
Sonic the Hedgehog Newsgroup - Pretty small-time right now, but
hey, that makes for less SPAM. If you've got news capabilities, go to alt.fan.sonic-hedgehog
and check it out!
D.J. Fox's Page
- Review of these two sites coming soon, be patient, I don't get a whole lot of online time nowadays...
