Description: Long white hair, blue eyes, medium-built, favors a tunic and breechers together with a cloak and soft boots; carries a fire sword by his side.

Dark Schneider, DS, or Darshu is the main character of this anime. He is 400 years old and quite good looking for someone his age. He is unlike most leading characters I've encountered. His white hair doesn't make him look old and his wit, attitude and vanity are amusing to say the least.

Some Dark Schneider quotes:

  • "Of all the girls in the world you had to go and hit Yoko. This girl is my dearest. She will have my children in the future."

    Besides being extremely powerful, rarely running out of spells to throw against his enemies, he is a ladies man -- having three women falling for him in the anime (much more in the manga) ... Lady Arshes Nei, Princess Sheila, and Tia Noto Yoko. Although he has spent around a 100 years with Arshes Nei, Dark Schneider is now in love with Yoko because of his link to Luche.

    Age: 15 years old
    Race: human

    Description: Short brown hair, brown eyes, medium-built, slightly chubby, favors a tunic and trousers

    Luche Len Len is the young boy that "housed" Dark Schneider for fifteen years. Luche and Schneider are one...whatever one feels the other feels. "Yoko, I'm Luche. One spirit has two personalities and bodies...If Luche dies, I die too...and when Luche loves someone, I love that person too."

    Name: Tia Noto Yoko
    Age: around 16 years old
    Race: human
    Class: magic-user
    Alignment: Lawful good
    Description: long hazel brown hair, green eyes, favors a tunic and breeches

    Tia Yoko is the one that broke the seal keeping Dark Schneider imprisoned in Luche Len Len's body. The curse can only be broken by a kiss from a virgin. Another kiss will once more imprison Schneider. However, during the course of the story, Schneider gains the ability to break the seal himself. He was able to do this out of his love for Yoko.

    Yoko has a fondness for Luche but is beginning to learn to love Dark Schneider. She always calls Dark Schneider, Luche...emphasizing that Luche and Schneider are really one person.

    She isn't a plain sweet lil girl who cannot defend herself ... its just that she somehow ends up in the clutches of the enemy. She is also the daughter of the High Priest Geo of Metallicana.

    Name: Lady Arshes Nei
    Age: at least 115 years old but looks 22 years old
    Race: half-elf
    Class: magic-user/fighter
    Alignment: Neutral
    Description: Long black hair, crimson eyes, medium-built, favors something similar to a bathing suit, high boots and her armor; carries a sword on her hip

    Dark Schneider's lover, daughter,and student. She is half dark elf and half human. When war broke between the dark elves and the wood elves, she was abandoned by the dark elf clan that raised her. Dark Schneider took her in. Eventually they became lovers for 100 years. Arshes affectionately calls Schneider, Darshu.

    Through the course of the story, Arshes is torn between her loyalties with Abigail and her feelings for Darshu. She loves Darshu very much but Abigail cursed her with the spell Accused. The spell forces her to fight Darshu. If she does not kill him, she will die and turn into a toad. Only Darshu's death and blood can release her from the spell.

    Name: Ninja Master Gara
    Age: around 30 years old
    Race: human
    Class: ninja/fighter
    Alignment: Neutral
    Description: short black hair, black eyes, medium-built but rather muscular, favors a tunic and breeches, low boots, carries a magic sword

    Ninja Master Gara was once a follower of Dark Schneider but after Schneider's defeat fifteen years ago, he began to serve Abigail. He commands an army of ninjas and he owns a castle.

    Name: Princess Sheila
    Age: around 18 years old
    Race: human
    Class: royalty
    Alignment: Lawful good
    Description: Long black hair, purple eyes, medium-built, favors a dress (when in castle) or a short tunic (when outside)

    When Yoko was kidnapped, Sheila kissed Luche to break the seal and free Dark Schneider. I think that from that time on, she had a crush on Schneider.

    Princess Sheila keeps a secret with her. Besides being the next ruler of Metallicana, she also carries in her body the fourth and final seal which keeps Antharax in his eternal sleep.

    Name: High Priest Geo
    Age: around 50 years old
    Race: human
    Class: cleric
    Alignment: Lawful good
    Description: short graying hair, purple eyes, medium-built, favors a clerics garb, soft low boots; wears a cross

    High Priest Geo is one of the clerics that defeat and imprisoned Schneider in Luche Len Len. He is the father of Yoko and is second in command, to the king of Metallicana.
