The 14-year-old crowned prince of Pars. When Lusitanian army took over Pars and imprisoned the king and queen, Arslan fled with Darun. He is friendly, kind, and merciful person. Although he is young, he has gotten the charisma and his friends are always willing to follow him.
The royal knight of King Andragoras. He has a nickname of "Lion Hunter", because of his bravery. From the very beginning, Andragoras had an argument with him about fighting the Lusitaninas, thus Darun lost Andragoras' trust. Although he's the youngest leader of royal knights in the palace, he's very skillful at using the sword. After the Lusitanians took over the palace, he helped Arslan a lot and became a protector in the later advantures. (If not because of him, Arslan would have died many times already.) Darun is totally loyal to Arslan and willing to serve him. He once told Arslan that he had recognized Arslan as the only lord no matter what would happen.
He worked for the king as the chief secretary before he depicted the corruptions in the system and left the palace. Now he lives with his servent, Elam, in a cabin in the forest. He is very clever at using military strategies. He's also one of Darun's best friends. In the later advantures, he helps Arslan plan the battles. He says that he will be Arslan's royal painter when the day of rebuilding Parsian kingdom comes. His enemies all hate him because of his cunning and intelligence. His famous quote is : "The rise and fall of a country is just a sudden, but art remains forever". Don't think our Narsus sama is a person who just thinks without doing, because he's good at fighting too.
He is Narsus' young(about 12 or 13)servant. He always follows what Narsus tells him to do, such as spreading rumors in enemies' camps to mislead the enemies.(Anyway, those "trivialities" that Narsus sama doesn't want to do) Elam likes to serve Narsus, because he admires Narsus sama very much. So whenever Alfreed appears, Elam becomes angry and fights with her about who's going to serve Narsus. Except bickering with Alfreed, Elam doesn't seem to show very much of his emotion since he totally believes his master.
She was a priestess of Misra Temple. She is very skillful at archery. Since the day she met Gieve on a road,(she ignored him at first, until he called her "Great beautiful goddess")she has been always followed by him. She decides to join Arslan to fight. Besides fighting, she also holds ceremony for various occasions. Her image of riding on a horse is described as a "bright, brave goddess of moon". Her first major fight happens on leading 500 soldiers alone at night to attack Turans near Pershwa Castle.
A dissolute poet. He likes to chitchat with Farangese and to sing his poets to her, but she ignores him a lot. He met Farangese on a road while she was chased by some Lusitanian soldiers. He was attracted by her bravery and beauty ,so he followed her to meet Arslan. Because of Gieve's "unique skill", sometimes he's also "used" by Narsus as a spy. Don't be fooled by his personality which seems not taking anything seriously, he's a good spy, investigator, adventurer and fighter.
