Ryuji has a firm grip on Tsukasa's wrist.

Ryuji: {------I won't let go,}

Tsukasa, looking back in surprise: "......A......"

Ryuji: {of this hand ------anymore------}

Kamo-san and Bun-san: "---...A...!"

Taku also watches open mouthed.

Shiki: "......!"

Tsukasa: "------...Ryuji---!!" {------He... He's ---conscious---------...!!}

Tsukasa starts all of the sudden... and grabs the barrel of Misumi's gun without even turning back to look. She points the end of the gun to her own head.

Misumi: "!!"

Tsukasa challenges Misumi glaring at him through slitted eyes. "......"

Misumi: "......"

Akira draws his gun and Taku stares in horror.

Misumi: "Are you saying '...If you don't kill me you won't be able to kill him...' ...? ...Such... an intellectual offence [!!?] ............... You look as if you don't know anything ...but some part of you knows that there's no way that I can't kill you......"

He slowly lifts both hands away, leaving the gun in Tsukasa's hand.

Tsukasa: {!!?}

Everyone else: "!?"

Shiki: "...Master...?" [Okay, maybe 'master' isn't the best translation but that's what the dictionary said... Does 'boss' sound better? Maybe I should have left it as danna]

Misumi: "...I've changed my mind......"

Shiki, clearly surprised at the sudden change in Misumi: "...HE!?"

Misumi glances at Tsukasa and Ryuji. Ryuji still has a hold on Tsukasa's wrist and Tsukasa still has the gun in her hand.

A glaring contest between Misumi and Ryuji goes across 2 pages as a double spread.

Misumi: "------I have a gift ready to be sent to you (Kuryugumi) soon......"

Ryuji: "......!?"

Misumi: "---For me, this a well thought out gift from the bottom of my heart......"

A dark van pulls up behind Misumi... [Wasn't this INSIDE the hospital!!???]

Misumi: "---...So, I expect an appropriate gift in return. ---...That's right... as a wish, I would request her, if possible, with your left hand still attached to her------..." [Note: Misumi specifically refers to Tsukasa as kanojyo, meaning HER]

Misumi puts his hands in his pockets and turns to stride away.

Tsukasa: "------...!" {---A declaration of war. He came up front to Ryuji to pick a fight---!!}

Rui's words suddenly flash through Tsukasa's mind.

"---They plan on eliminating their rival."

Tsukasa: {---That's what was meant...!? You gotta be kidding. When exactly is '---Soon'...!? And when Ryuji's just woken up------...} She starts. She blushes and whirls around to face Ryuji. {That's right!! Conscious...!! Ryuji's conscious---!!}

Ryuji, with a large popped vein on his forehead: "...Hey. Who's that guy... Why does some guy I've never seen before pick a fight with me the first thing after waking up?"

Ryuji's attempting to sit up.

Kamo-san: "...Well, well, Sandaime. We'll explain all of this soon so take it easy and..." {Aa, don't try to get up. Lie back down...}

Tsukasa: "......"

Ryuji, in SD: "What do you mean soon?"

Tsukasa is only vaguely listening to the conversation between Ryuji and his bodyguards.

Ryuji: "I could tell at a glance that the guy wasn't a katagi, and he's gone and picked a fight with me. And you think that I can take it easy and rest at a time like this!?"

Kamo-san: "...Sandaime. Well it's true that I did say that this wasn't a time for you to be asleep like this... while you were in the ICU. But that doesn't mean that you have to be moving the moment you wake up."

Ryuji: "Shut up."

Tsukasa: "......" {...Ryuji... ...He's talking...}

Ryuji: "I hate leaving things hanging like this!"

Tsukasa: {Ryuji's angry... Ryuji's awake...... ...Ryuji's ...looking at me...!!} She then blushes madly.

Text: Aa! My manuke face is reflecting in Ryuji's eyes!!!!!!

Tsukasa: {...It's... It's not a joke! It's not a joke! Ryuji's really awake------!!} Her heart starts thumping wildly. {...D...Damn!! ...Oh... no! I haven't decided the first words to say to him for when he woke up------!! And while I had threatened him and yelled at him while he was asleep!! ...U... U~~~m U~~~m U~~~m... "Yo"... no... "Hey" ...no... Not "It's been awhile" either! Hurry up and think of something---------!!}

Meanwhile, Ryuji is staring at Tsukasa intently: "..."

Ryuji suddenly pulls Tsukasa forward.

Tsukasa: {---...E...?}

He then hugs her close, as if trying to imprint his face on hers.

Tsukasa, bright red: "What the hell did you do that for!?" {Damn you, that hurt!!} Her right foot is in Ryuji's face.

Kamo-san and Bun-san have dropped jaws and their hands to their faces in silent screams.

Steam/smoke rises from Ryuji's face. "OK, this is the real one. I was getting worried that I was still lost in a dream."

Tsukasa: "Dream...?"

Ryuji explains with a footprint on his face: "While I was asleep, I kept dreaming that I woke up a number of times." {But no matter where it was, you were cute (girly) and so unlike you.}

Tsukasa: "? ?" {--...Ryuji's back---}

Ryuji: "...But... ...Finally, you're the real one..."

Tsukasa: {---...My Ryuji------...} [What!? My Ryuji!?]

Tsukasa, hiding her hands behind her back as if a bit shy: "---...Welcome back...... Ryuji------..." She breaks out into a smile.

Kamo-san: "Sandaime, let's return to the hospital room."

Tsukasa: "Yeah, since the nurses were worried too."

Taku, watching all of this: "------..."

Akira returns, pouting and empty handed: {...What... he's really awake. Damn, what a lucky guy...}

Text below Akira: He went chasing after Misumi.

Taku: "---..."

Akira notices the look on Taku's face. "...... ... ...Are you all right...?"

Taku, startled: "...E!?"

Akira: "You don't look well."

Taku: "R...! Really!?" {I... I'm fine.}

Tsukasa overhears this and glances at her brother.

Taku: "...Really..." He starts as he notices Tsukasa turning to look at him. "!"

Tsukasa: "......"

Taku suddenly turns away.

Tsukasa: {!!?}

Her brother strides off.

Tsukasa: {------...E...? ------...Taku-nii------...?}

Back in Ryuji's hospital room.

Kamo-san is sitting on Ryuji's right while Tsukasa is sitting to the left of Ryuji's hospital bed.

Ryuji: "...Hm--------- ...... ---...Garyukai's don---..."

Kamo-san: "That's right. We're not positive, but if not don... then at least from the upper ranking class."

Ryuji: "---...Hm..." {I see... Isn't that spectacular.} "So, I got to see the face of hard-to-get-a-glimpse-of don of Garyukai and after he picked a fight with me I let him go home as if nothing happened......" He accuses Kamo-san with his eyes.

Kamo-san: "...But... That couldn't be helped." He looks sheepish. "It was more important for us that you were conscious~~~"

Ryuji: "...Okay, that's enough."

Tsukasa is sitting looking troubled. "...... ------..." {---...Taku-nii... ...I wonder what was wrong with him------... He turned his eyes away as if to escape from me------...}

A hand reaches out and pinching Tsukasa's cheek.

Ryuji pulls hard.

Tsukasa: "Ow~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!" [My, what a stretchy cheek.]

Kamo-san looks on with dots for eyes.

Tsukasa: "...Whatcha do that for------!!" She has tears in her eyes and is holding her red cheek.

Ryuji: "It's because you're hiding in your shell when I'm talking to you."

Tsukasa looks cute hiding in a large cracked open egg shell. "...E...? Once more please...?" [This was said in very poor English.]

Labels on the shell: My shell. Sound proof.

Ryuji: "..." A large popped vein is visible on his forehead. "...... ...I'm saying, why did the supposed don of Garyukai appear in a place like this and use me as bait to lure you away?"

Tsukasa is stunned as Misumi's earlier words pass through her mind.

".......In your body runs blood that differs from that of most people------..."

Tsukasa turns away from Ryuji: "..I dunno."

Ryuji: "......Don't lie. Though vaguely, I overheard your conversation.

Tsukasa starts, and recalls Taku's strange actions just moments earlier. Her eyes go wide. "...He..."

Ryuji and Kamo-san start.

Tsukasa: "was probably a junkie." {You know, weren't his eyes kinda weird?} "Probably used some of the drugs Garyukai is distributing or something." {He probably can't tell the difference between his realm and reality.} She points at Ryuji. "If you keep on believing stuff junkie-kun said like this, he's going to fold you up, flip you over and fold you into a paper crane." [...Weird analogy......]

Ryuji: "......"

Tsukasa, matter of factly: "No thanks. I'm not listening to that guy~~~" {So now that that's settled.} "I'm going to the riverside (washroom)." She leaves the room.

Kamo-san: {...She doesn't have tell us her each and every move...}

Ryuji: "......"

Kamo-san: "---...What do you think...?"

Ryuji: "...... ...True, I feel those were not ordinary eyes, but ...they didn't look like the eyes of a junkie."

Kamo-san: ".. ...I... wonder what is going on?"

Ryuji: "...I don't know..." {There's no logic to the reason Garyukai is picking a fight with us. It's something that occurs often among other syndicates. I don't know why that guy's so interested in Tsukasa------...... ---...I don't know why, so that's why I can't back off from this fight---...} He looks determined.

In the hospital hallway, Tsukasa is seen speed walking so fast that her hair is flying back. [No running in the halls is allowed.]

Tsukasa: {Humph! Why should I listen!? Why should I listen to the words of some unknown guy!!? What do you mean blood that differs from that of most people!? What kind of blood is that!? What do you me~~~an '---not that parent'!? If not that parent then what parent is he talking about!!? It's not like we're talking about cuckoo birds that lay their eggs in other birds' nests to have their young raised by others.}

As she walks by, she spots a figure sitting outside one of the entrances to the hospital. She stops for a moment and does a double take.

Tsukasa: "......" {...Was... that Taku-nii---...?}

Outside, Taku is sitting by himself, his hands resting on his hands.

Taku: "---......"

Misumi's words replay in his mind.

Taku's hands are clasped.

Taku: "------..." {---...Could it be that... they (Garyukai) know everything...? If so then......}

Taku begins talking out loud. "---...What should I do...? ...They (Garyukai)... are coming closer... ...What should I do...... ...Mother..." {---...I won't be able to do much more before---...!} He bends over and holds his head in despair. "...At this rate it's only a matter of time...... before Tsukasa learns...... ---...that she's... ---...not related to us------..."

At these words, Tsukasa is standing close behind Taku at the door which she had opened. Her eyes are wide in surprise.
