By
far my most ambitious project, I have been working for the last 4 years to
put some of the books of the bible to music with vocalists and
instruments. In these works, the vocalists sing every bit of text of
the bible. This means that there is a lot of music to cover the
masses of text in each book. I have completed the first 9 chapters
of the book of Genesis and 23 chapters of the book of Job. While
perhaps not realistic, I would like to try to compose music to as much of
the bible as possible throughout my life. A true blessing would be
to finish music to all of the Bible. However, I am not on track
given this hope.... but the journey is just as rewarding.
