In the Little World of JYC...

Place for Jenny to blabber about anything she fancies

A bit too much work to scan over 200 pictures so here are some more interesting ones.

Our first stop is Milano. Like I said before, Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper was the highlight of this stop. Either we were really hungry or it was really that good, I swear the little shop next to the church has the best gelato in Italy.

Milano - Chiesa Di Santa Maria Delle Grazie Milano - Priest and Woman walking at Cenacolo Vinciano Milano - Duomo Milano - Blue Sky behind an Arc

*sighs* Venice. How do I even begin to describe Venice...

Venezia - Piazza San Marco Venezia - Rows of gondolas near Piazza San Marco Venezia - a little bridge near our hotel Venezia - Lots of little canals Venezia - Romantic gondola rides

I must have shot 10 pictures of the place where Leonardo da Vinci supposedly painted the Mona Lisa. I was hoping to see Tuscany with fields and fields of sunflower but it was not the right time so we took pictures of all the other flowers we came across.

Toscana - Where Da Vinci painted the famous lady with the smile Toscana - Rose at our B&B

Sometimes little things made up a great trip. Having a cup of coffee (spiked, I think) at this upstairs balcony of a little cafe is one of them.

Firenze - Cattedrale Di Santa Maria Del Fiore Firenze - a bridge behind our hotel
Firenze - One of the many ceiling painting in The Uffizi Firenze - Piazza Della Signoria Firenze - what's Italy without a nice cup of latte?

Haha, I won't show you the picture where I pretend to push the leaning tower.

Pisa - Piazza del Duomo with the Leaning Tower at the back

After what felt like hours of climbing the stairs, we finally arrived at the top of the Basilica di San Pietro. It's all worth it.

The Vatican city

Gladiator, anyone?

Roma - The Colosseum
