On Thursday, November 10th, members and guests are invited for a Social Evening of music, resfreshments, and camaraderie at 7:30 pm in Liederkranz Hall (6 East 87th Street, between Fifth and Madison Avenues). Join us for an informal presentation of "quotes" and "paraphrases", by other composers, from Mahler's music. Wine and hors d'oeuvres, coffee, tea and pastries will be served and door prizes will be awarded. Come and enjoy a stimulating evening of discussion, and meet your fellow members in a social setting. Admission is free for members and one guest; $5 at the door for additional guests and non-members.
We are working on the next issue of "Wunderhorn" and hope to have it in the mail by mid-September. If any members are interested in contributing to future issues, or have information concerning Mahler programs or events that would be of wide interest, please contact Paul Stumpf via mail or email (gmsny@yahoo.com).
CONGRATULATIONS
