2. WILLIAM WILLIFORD HOCKET - Born 16 Dec. 1833. Died March 4, 1904.
m. (1) ORPHA WITHAM, 25 Nov. 25, 1848 or 1858
m. (2) MARY ELLEN EAKIN June 2, 1881 at Pleasant Mound, Bond Co., IL

3. JOHN W. HOCKETT - Born April 2, 1837. Died 12 February, 1901.
m. (1) MARY LOUISE STEPHENS, July 12, 1871
m. (2) RACHEL VAN DEUSEN, October 20, 1898

4. OLIVER HOCKET - Born September 2, 1838. Died October 31, 1919
m. RUTH JANE BILLINGSLEA - Born March 12, 1846 and died June 13, 1928

5. JAMES HOCKETT - Born about 1840.
m. ARAMENTHA A. MC CAN (MC CANN)

6. REBECCA JANE HOCKETT - Born about 1842.
m. WILLIAM F. HOBBS

NOTE! The Bond County History book states that Rebecca married "William J. Hobbs, MD". His middle initial was F, not J. I have a document signed by him that very clearly shows this. My aunt also said that his middle name was Frank. I'm not sure about the "MD" part yet. So far, I have not found documentation.

7. FORINER - Born about 1845. Appears to have died young.

8.LAURA - Born 1847 or 1848.

In 1854 Ann Shaffer Hockett married Simon Morse, whom she divorced in 1864. Children from that marriage were FERDINAND MORSE and JOHN MORSE.
