The photos on this particular page were taken during our visit to
Switzerland in May of 2001.
In Boat on Thunersee
We took a long 2 and half hour trip from Interlaken West to Thun in
Thunersee. Very scenic trip.
Weeping Lion in Luzern
The famous monument in Luzern is the backdrop. It is a very calm place
where we wished we could relax for hours.
Palace Wilson in Geneva
Along the lake, spring flowers line the walkway. In front of Palace Wilson,
on a cloudy day.
Building in Rhone river
Scenic area in Geneva, with the convention building in the middle of
the river leading out of the lake.

Ice sculptures
Exquisite ice sculptures are found in the Ice palace at Jungfraujoch.
Jungfraujoch is near Jungfrau - for Young Maiden - "Top of Europe".
Ice palace sculptures
Igloo, penguins, etc., made from ice inside the Ice Palace at Jungfraujoch
observatory area. The palace is 7 to 10 metres below the surface snow and
ice.
In Ice Palace
A place to pose inside the Ice palace which is in Jungfraujoch in the
Alps (Switzerland).
Jungfrau from Plateau
The plateau at Jungfraujoch, just outside the ice palace, is a superb
spot to view the Northern Alps. Behind us is the Jungfrau (Young Maiden).

Monch peak is on the other side of Jungfraujoch.
In Panoramic train
This photo was taken at Zweisimmen bahnhof (station), on the Panoramic train
between Zweisimmen and Montreaux. A gentleman behind us moved out of the way,
without our knowledge (you can see his backpack on the seat behind us).
