From Pat Caussade from Spring Valley, NY (Rockland County) USA. Time: 2000-09-07 Website: Pat's Place Hi Robin: I did think I was the only one(lost that is here on the web)I'm 55 and the grandma of 9 beautiful little ones. I have 3 who live in Memphis, TN who I don't get to see too often but I do see the others often. I do have a homepage but I don't know how to make it what I really want it to be like. Maybe you can help me, I have never been on one of the chat lines. I guess because I'm scared since I've heard so many bad things about them. I do want to meet and make many new friends from everywhere! I'd like them to come and be just like what I found on your homepage! Please visit me and tell me how to go about getting started. God bless you and all the wonderful people who have found you and had such good things to say. Pat C

I love your site. It's a real pleasure reading what everyone has to say. Firstly, once you start, you can't stop and secondly, if you have people staying and there's one about to be started, I promise you, you will not see them for hours until it is completed. I think they ought to be available on the national health as I'm sure they're mentally beneficial, especially to us older folk. Sorry to bore you but this is the first time I have left a message on your site and I was wanting a subject. Having just finished a puzzle, it just came to me.

From Wilma Wilson Date: Sunday, 6 June 1999 Hi,Robin, I just found some more sites thru your pages .One was the Phenomonal Woman. Also some beautiful music too.I find something different every time i get into some of your pages. I am really hooked on this piece of binary filled box.I have really learned a lot since the short time I've had it and still am! I've even taught the grandkids a few things(ha ha) I really was glad to find some of the health networks.I get updates on new cancer research often. And even found an oncoligst with an e-mail so I could ask about some things. How many children do you have ? We had 6 daughters, one died at 7 months. We took in 2 nieces till they got out on their own. One of our grandsons lives here.He wants to finish school here where his mother went..(I may ship him back to mom if he doesn't get to learn rules are made for a reason.)He is a good boy most of the time. Age 13 years is hard on any body(I need my head examed.I always was one glutten for punishment.ha ha) We also have 13 grandchildren and 4 unoffical grandchildren. I do factory work and so does my husband. We would like to retire but no way yet. I hope I don't bore you with this.I'm always looking for making new friends.

From Bonnie/RitOnGrams, From Nevada by way of UTAH! Website: Seasons With Family and Friends Time: 1999-05-06 You have got it right there are computers after 50. But better yet there is life after 60 and it gets even better. You would laugh at the first computer I had back in 1980. It was a TI with no hard drive. I have gone through each up grade from the 286 2rams of memory and an 85 hard drive. I now have a Pentium II 400 mzh 96 rams memory and 12.2 gif hard drive. Of course the color printer and zip drive were additions with the old 486. But I have now come into the new age with a scanner and a dital port for the camera. And I can remember when gas was 25 cents a gallon. You have a great web site got me to thinking how things have changed. I love the computer world the net and everything that goes with it. Stop by my site and pay me a visit I love visitors.

Wonderful another over fifties...computer nut...Well, I'm a nut but not necessarily on the computer...I thought I was intelligent..but I cannot seem to get the hang of this webpage composing yet...I have just got myself a site in Heartland..mmm now forgot the actual place in heartland..now. oh yes..I think it is Ridge..anyway I'm trying to make a page which may attract foster parents...we have been for 12 years..Also, parents surviving the death or in our case, the murder of a child... So I think I have lots to offer but can't seem to get the hang of that webpage guide. I think I must try harder...but I'll get there..

From:Jo Mulholland, from: Sydney (born in Gouda, Holland,) Time: 1998-06-22, Website: A Dutch-Australian Connection, : Hello Robin . I like your writing style VERY much indeed. My computer is acting up and being blurry. That makes it even harder to read your thoughts about your experiences. I'll be back. (An acquaintance manages the municipal swimming pool in Auburn, NSW. She coaches GOLDEN OLDIES. I like the expression.) I spent the first 12 years of my life in Holland and did not know that horse meat was unusual. That is what we ate.

From: pc.umbc.edu (your applet gave me this name :-) ), Website: Women's Studies Resources Time: 1998-06-08 Greetings from another fiftysomething woman, one who has loved the Net since first logging on in 1990. As your guestbook indicates, there are more of us out there than the media accounts would have us believe! By the way, you may want to add a new answer to "How did you find us?" since I learned about you from FeminaMail (info at http://www.femina.com/ ), a terrific source of women-related websites.

From Clementine Clay from Safety Harbor, FL, U.S.A. Time: 1998-06-05 : Hi, Robin, What a terrific site you have! I am so impressed with it that I've added it to my GeoCities Tour...I hope you don't mind. I started with my first computer at age 52 and still have SO much to learn--it's a never ending process but it's so much fun that I wonder why anyone with a computer could possibly complain of being bored! Please drop by Clem's Corner and sign my guestbook so I will know you visited. I will be visiting your site again soon as there is so much to see and do and I couldn't see it all on my first visit. With smiles, Clem.

From tess from: Missouri, USA. Time: 1998-05-04 Hi Robin :) I like to think that everytime I sign on it's a new trip to someplace that I've never visited before and today (May 3) it has been. I live in MO, the middle of the US and like to think that altho I no longer live at the gathering place of the world (Grand Canyon AZ) where I lived for about 13 years, I can still meet people from all over....that each trip online is a chance to find out about others. So when I saw your site I thought what a nice place to visit. So I have. Thank you for being online and here's a big hello :)
