Numerology

There will be more coming here on using numerology to pick a craft name (or a web site name :-)

Numerology predates Astrology and has been practiced by both ancient and modern civilizations. It is the
science of "Number" whereby each letter of the alphabet vibrates to a corresponding number. For example
the Hebrew alphabet has a number associated with each of the letters. The ancient Jewish Kabalists were well
schooled in the meanings behind the letters of a name. The Chaldeans also had a system relating to numerology and many modern Numerologist use this system today instead of the Pathagorian system. Each has its place and uses.  The CHANGE of an individuals name holds hidden meaning that is revealed through the use of Numerology.

By applying the principles of Numerology, the inner meanings of names, words and phrases, may be revealed
as well as the significance of specific numbers. In its application today in modern civilization; Numerology
often times is combined with aspects of Astrology, and the Tarot. In fact, all three (Numerology, Astrology,
and Tarot) share a common ground when applied in English speaking countries, as will be shown latter in this
text.

VALUES OF THE ENGLISH ALPHABET

The numbers 1 - 9 are assigned the letters A - I in the first level, J - R in the second level, while the number 1 -
8 are assigned to the letters S - Z in the third level. We can now see that the Letters A, J, and S all share the
aspects assigned to the number 1, while the Letters B, K, and T, all share the aspects assigned to the number
2, and so on. The Numbers 1 through 9 are called Root numbers while the numbers 10 through 78 are higher
octaves of the Root Numbers. Within the numbers 10 through 78 are FOUR double numbers called Master
Numbers. They are 11, 22, 33, and 44 which reflect the highest attributes of their respective Root Numbers 2,
4, 6 and 8.
