When Leo ascends in the solar return, personal creativity is the theme for the year. If you are involved in any of the arts, you'll throw yourself deeply into your jwork. Inspiration and ideas abound now. Recognition may crown your effort this year and you should guard against letter your ego run away with you.

Romance colors a Leo year. You need attention and affection more than ever and your desires are uncousciously transitted to those around you. Your warm expressive manner encourages others to reciprocate.

When an intercepted sign appears on the solar return ascendent you will have an opportunity to bring qualities that you ususally are unable to express consciously or objectively. In this year my intercepted 7th house sign of leo has moved foreward to the ascendent. I find it interesting that I've gone on prozac - (a leo enhancing drug if ever there was one). The solar return sun position shows what you can consciously and purposely do this year to further that purpose.

Since Leo is in the natal 7th house, 7th house issues will claim a great deal of time and energy during the year. I will take charge of this area of my life and make progress. I believe as much as I'd like this to have a romantic cast the focus is on partnership and the manifestation will be as a third house output. What ever I do this year I will do it with or in response to a partner.

The house holding the solar return acendant's ruler (the third house) shows people and things that gve you asitance during the year. It is also an area where you attempt advancement. The might be some influence from the the natal house holding the solar return ruler - (the 8th house) I could see this being influenced by death - paper on project failure or other peoples money - how to develop a business case.

There may also be some significance to the fact that Saturn is in its natal location of the 9th house. (Publishing contract???)

There are no water plants in the solar return chart. This can be a time of intellectual and/or practical pursuits. A more rational orientation might be warranted.

The Moon
The solar return moon is intercepted in the 11th house. A waning moon means that you are reaping the results from previous efforts.  Friendships and social activites are emphasised in a year with the moon in the 11th house. You are likely to feel more sociable generally and to be widening your circle of firends. You may join a group of some sort or become more involved with one you already belong to. (PMI meeting in Nov and Dec) Knowing, discovering and establishing your place within all groups you are accociated iwth will be animportant experience this year
Wishes and longings that have been dormant for along time are awakening and you are likely to make moves to fulfill them.

Moon in Gemini- There will be a need to communicate, a need to understand and a need to relate through ideas. This is a restless peiod, a time when you need stimulation both mentally and physically. It is a good idea to establish as flexible a schedule as your life will allow.
This is an excellent time to join a therapy or self-help goup. The moon suggests emotional attachments within a detached setting. In this type of group setting you are able to experience strong emotions without being weighed down by emotional rsponsibility, a good combination for the individual with a freedom-closeness delimma.

Sun in the 3rd house emphaises communications. (Net?, writing? writing on the net?) (might want to carefully understand the sun/satun opposition - my gut says the sun simply wants to fly off and communciate - babble and search and Saturn wants to nail things down. It might be the only thing that saves me)

Mercury in the 3rd houe can suggest that the rational thinking processes maybe stronger than feelings. this is most likely to be so if the Moon is not particualary stong by house, sign, or aspect and the chart is not watery. Your mental attitude during the year is very important. You need to think clearly in order to function at an optimal level.
Mercury/Neptune - Trine You are able to acquire information through intuitive or psychic insites. You will be working with a drive toward creativity, but it maybe difficult to express these concretely

Venus in the second house often indicates easy money, the kind that requires no extra work on your part Possibly a raise for the same hours worked (already happened) During the year you should feel comfortable with the amount of money you have available to spend.

Mars in the first house could show a year when you have more energy, especially is you do your own thing and enjoy what you're doing. You can get started earlier, last longer and work harder. For those who are interested in body work, this is a great time for physical exercise. The energy surge should be channeded into practical projects You have the ability to coneive of a plan and independently complete a task. Most likely the task you shoose to work on requires much personal initiative and self motivation.
This is a year to get in touch with your unique drive for accomplishment. Ego fulfillment and self-interest are important at this time.
