Now comes the breath of Autumn, and nature will again go into the cycle of death. We learn from her if we're survivors. We always remember that as one cycle ends a new cycle emerges, but energies remain constant. How we handle them is entirely up to each one of us.
It is said that Halloween is the one night that the shroud between the living and dead is thinnest. Typically humankind has always had a primal fear of death. To really gain mastery of life you must conquer your fear of death. So we watch horror movies, dress up like ghosts, and try to frighten each other, to laugh at our fears.
For some Halloween has become about fear. They associate it with Satan. But in other religions it was about accepting death as one point of the wheel as it turns, and remembering beloved souls passed on.
The turbulent days we live in is adding to our fear... fear of other people. We must face all fears with courage. NOW is the time for the spiritually elevated in all religions, Buddhist, Jewish, Christian, Moslim, Hindu, Pagan, EVERYTHING to speak up for light, love, and faith, because change creates fear and fear creates darkness.
