It's good to read somebody on internet not mocking the victims. I would like to see a book or writings focusing only on Ted's growing up. I mean in great detail. I believe he was a genetic throwback as are all serial k llers. I believe most of them are, within themselves on some level, both normal and revulsed by their actions. They are forced by overwhelming compulsion and their inability to block the compulsion's demand and at some point they give in, wholeheartedly to their "fate." I also believe they always have a choice not to act out, at least after the first awakenings of their "calling." But it probably satisfies so much need for their otherwise frustrated pleasures. It must be an awful realization that one is born with such an extreme destructive nature. There must be a blaming of God going on in there somewhere. I reserve an nth of compassion for Ted and all the rest for victims and their sad families. Again, thanks for your cogent observations. |
