Reviewing my heart
Not that I’m doubtful
I just need a good start.
No use in us beginning
by holding things back
Many Lovers have failed
by doing just that.
So I give you my all
right from the word Go
And I’m checking my heart.
Just so that you know.
Must be real for you
If I’m to be your man
must be straight up for you
and you do understand
The ways of my heart
are deep, and true
I'm creating a great place
for me, and for you
I feel like I have known you forever
and its not been that long
But the future is pleasant
speak up if I’m wrong
You are on my mind
for great parts of the day
I enjoy being with you
in a very special way
I’ve been taught how to love
and this I will do
I’m preparing my soul
to share wonders with you
Don’t miss understand me
I’m not moving to fast
Just preparing my heart
So that together, we last
I wont step to you in doubt
but with faith, and with trust
I can't go halfway
Baby, its all or bust.
I do not trust in Society’s way
as I think they are wrong.
I don’t need a quick fix
Our love should last long

If the traditions of men
make God’s word non effect
then a traditional heart
will lead to neglect
Don’t think that these words
are all that deep
Its just that my love for you
I intend to keep
It's enough for you
to understand

about being a man
So I will take my time
to think these things out

you will flourish without doubt.

Something I didn't tell you.
It's about a dream I had
I was suspended in time.
I dreamed I was alone, and I lost you
And I thought to myself, what am I to do?
There was no peace to be found
nothing, only pain by the pound.
Nothing inside me to lift me up
Like a great thirst, and an empty cup.
No joy, no laughter.. no, not any of that
No comforting words, no rubbing my back.
Where had you gone, as I turned all night?
I searched all over, you were no where in sight.
Emptiness was swallowing me whole
Choked by the darkness, entangling my soul.
But bless all that is good
you touched me and I awakened.
I cant begin to share with you
how my world was shaken.
So I just want to hold you tonight
all night, right here in my arms.
I want you close to me
to embrace your sweet charms.
I love you more each day
although the words, I don't say.
But if you will be patient with me
I'm understanding more, the right way
Can you feel my heart
beating urgently in my chest?
Its because I am aware
that you are giving me your best.
And I love you yesterday
today, and tomorrow.
And I love you faithfully
forever, and without any sorrow.
