Everything I know, I learned from movies...

Okay, that's a slight exaggeration....SLIGHT, mind you! I've been a movie fan for as long as I can remember, and don't expect that to change anytime soon. I am one of those people that Norma Desmond was referring to in "Sunset Boulevard" when she spoke of "those wonderful people out there in the dark".

My Favorite Movies

Well, it certainly hasn't been easy, but I've finally narrowed my list down to ten of my favorite movies....check back though, these will probably be changing from time to time!...*G*

  1. Citizen Kane: Showcasing the genius of Orson Welles

  2. The Godfather: Francis Ford Coppola's masterpiece

  3. The Elephant Man: Anthony Hopkins at the top of his form

  4. The Fugitive: Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones....does it get any better than this?

  5. Gone With The Wind: I've worn the covers off two copies of the book, and have seen the movie more than 30 times (I finally quit counting). Though it's notoriously inaccurate historically, I just love this movie!

  6. Psycho: I love nearly everything Hitchcock ever did, but this is still my favorite.

  7. The Sixth Sense: Bruce Willis is really wonderful in this movie, but Haley Joel Osment really blew me away!

  8. The Star Wars Trilogy: I know, I know...technically, this is THREE movies, but they really shouldn't be separated!

  9. The Wizard of Oz: Who can doubt that tomorrow will be a better day when they hear Judy sing "Over the Rainbow"?

  10. Working Girl: Gives us "cubicle-dwellers" hope!!
