Candle Magick

Candle magick is one of the easiest rituals that you can do. Even the beginner can do this powerful magick. But remember the rule of three, and try to stay away from the negative magick.

When doing candle rituals, it is said to time them with the Moon for the most positive results. The waxing Moon (or moving towards a full moon) is good for bringing things to you; the waning Moon (or moving from full all the way to a new moon) is for taking things away. It is recommended that when you anoint your candle with oil, rub the candle from the wick down to the end to bring things into your life, and from the end to the wick to take things out of your life.

Always use a new candle, in the appropriate color for the spell you are about to cast. Anointing may be done with any combination of essential oils, or with just myrrh. After you have selected your candle color, and anointed it with oil, take a pin and scratch your desire onto the wax. Keep your purpose firmly in your mind, and focus on your candle. Set the candle in a holder and light it. Allow your candle to burn all the way out.

Remember not to leave a candle unattended while burning, and keep it out of the reaches of small children and curious pets.
