Well, here it is Saturday... I'll be off to visit Jevim on Wednesday, and I can't wait to get back and just be with him. I want to curl up with him and just be close for ... well, I say days on end, but that might get a bit boring after a while. *smile* Especially knowing that we can actually do things together, and this will be the last visit where we have the freedom to really do what we want to for possibly quite a while.
I've already asked him if he'd agree to getting our pictures done together, and I've asked him if he thought the parking situation around the Smithsonian might be any better, now that it's no longer high summer, and so he said we could try and see. Plus he wants to takeme to Dave and Buster's (an arcade-type place for grown-ups) and I'm not sure yet (nor is he) what we'll be doing for Thanksgiving. I think maybe he's rather anxious or uneasy about taking me to his parent's house, though we've met already. We'll see... I'm not so nervous about it now, but who knows, when the time comes.
Anyway, I'm spending the weekend (and a bit more) at my friend Connie's, and we declared today a lazy day, though part of me would like to get out and do something. The itch to do something brought me in to her computer, and to sit down and write a bit for the day. I have the urge to create something, but I'm really not entirely sure what. Perhaps a logo for this month's calendar, since I'm more than a week behind on creating that? Or taking a peek at what our HTML assignment is in my class and tackling that? They were doing images when last I checked, and that's pretty boring stuff for me.
I chatted with Jevim for a while today, and he wasn't sure what he was going to be doing, but he said he'd try his best to be home by 6:30 his time, which is when Connie will be leaving for work.So, I guess we'll spend the evening online, though as uncomfortable as Connie's computer chair is for me, I don't know how much of that we'll actually spend chatting.
I guess I'll fire up Paint Shop Pro and see if I can hunt downsomething cute to do for this month's calendar. TTYL...
