Good morning!
Jevim got a late start to work this morning, since we both slept way past when the alarm went off. We stayed up too late last night, not all of which was our fault. As I mentioned in my previous entry, Connie called around 10:50 or so, and she talked to Jevim for quite a while -- he'd told me earlier that she had broken up with Emma -- and then she talked to me for just a few minutes, then went off to bed or whatever.
Sometimes I wonder if Jevim is more of a friend to her than I am. Certainly seems that way this past week, anyway. Connie ICQed me yesterday to ask for his work number, which I gave her, and he told me last night that she'd called him twice. If it were anyone else, I might be jealous, but I'm not. After what Connie's been through the past several months, she can use all the friends she's got. I don't envy her one bit.
Anyway, Jevim got home around 5:45 yesterday, after fighting with his computer at work (which he still has to get back to working order), and we watched a video clip he'd downloaded for me, and he caught up on e-mail, then we went out to Pizza Hut for dinner, and then grocery shopping. We got home and put the groceries away, and he played his games online, while I worked on the afghan I'm making for him. He's seen it now, so I don't have to keep it entirely a secret. After that, we got ready for bed, and waited for Connie to hop off her phone line (she was online, but we didn't check for her there, of course).
I guess that's enough rambling for now. Going to get caught up in my online games and then try to be a bit productive around the apartment. Jevim's going to work a bit late this evening, and probably work through lunch as well, to make up for going in late, so I've got the entire day to myself. Now why couldn't it have been today that I was sleepy and wanted to go back to bed, instead of yesterday when I knew he was coming home for lunch? Oh well, C'est la vie! Type to you later...
