I meant to get back yesterday... I finally took a couple ibuprofen and got to feeling better, but I got caught up answering mail, reading newsgroups, and just goofing off. At any rate, not much happened that was worth writing about at the time. Jev called from his hotel room up in Boston and told me all about his first class flight (lucky duck!), and we just chatted for a bit. He headed off to find some dinner, and I hopped online and got caught up on e-mail and such.
I spent most of today being lazy again, though I did get the floor in my room cleared up so Mom could vacuum (I had bits of floss all over the rug), and I helped her put up lights around the house. She has about four strings out on the porch, and I took the string of white lights and put them up by the head of my bed and over the doorway and my doll and beanie collection; it looks cute when the overhead light is off. I put a flasher bulb in the string, but it doesn't seem to work.
I'm ICQ'ing with Jev's ride back from the airport right now... he asked me to let her know he was coming in on an earlier flight, and we've just been shooting the breeze. She says he sounded bummed out when he called a bit ago to tell her his second flight had been delayed, so I wonder if his interview didn't go well. *sigh* I guess I'll find out in a few more hours.

Jev's back, and his interview went pretty well, he's just feeling kinda tired. Can't say I blame him, taking four flights in two days. Anyway, I'm glad he's back, safe and sound... I think he's just about ready to crawl up into his loft and let me put him to sleep, talking to him via Netmeeting. I've been madly typing up journal entries, adding the people and places page, and all that fun stuff, so I'm kinda tuckered out, too.
Ooo, he just made a little macro that will make it easy for me to put a link to his current day's entry. He's such a whiz at programming... it would have taken me twenty minutes to figure out how to do it, but he did it in under five.
Anyway, I'm getting sleepy, so I'm going to go ahead and get this posted. G'night... -- Lis
