5:20 PM
Jev's typing away on his computer, updating his journal. I'm feeling a little tired and headachy, and decided to do my entry on paper. Maybe if I write legibly, Jev can type it up for me.
Yesterday was our first full day together with Jev's family, and what with the impending afternoon dentist appointment, and the string of interruptions from his mom and sister, it got a little stressful, but we managed. I went with him to his appointment, and we did a little looking around at Wally World afterward, and had a quick seafood dinner before coming back home.
His sister was gone when we got back, and we spent the rest of the evening in his room, me watching tv and cross stitching, and Jev playing games on the computer.
Today we ran out for a little last-minute shopping, and not long after we got back, Jev got a letter delivered by FedEx, with an offer from the company he interviewed with on Tuesday. They must really want him, and I think we'd be happy living in the area, so... this might be the one!
I think he may still be a bit in shock... but he's definitely very happy, and I'm glad the offer arrived in time for Christmas.
After the news had some time to sink in, we went downstairs to wrap a few gifts, then came up to the room for a bit before dinner. Now we're both pleasantly stuffed, and ready for the rest of the evening. I'm just not quite sure what we're going to do. One of his parents mentioned something about going out to see the lights, so that's a possibility...
That's about (HEY! Jev just tickled my foot! *pout* So I tickled him back, and he called me a brat. At least he agrees he's a brat as well). Anyway, as I was saying, that's it for now, type to you later... Happy Holidays!
