Weights and MeasuresFebruary 1, eveningI can't remember offhand if I mentioned it in my New Year's Day entry, but on January 1st, I took my mom's example, and weighed and measured myself and took note of the measurements. Granted, the measurements were all from the waist down -- waist up is kinda irrelevant for me, as far as my anatomy is concerned. Anyway, as far as weight, and waist and hip measurements go, I've been going in the wrong direction. That's hardly a surprise to me, considering how much candy and how many cookies and other sweets I've had in the past month. My legs, however, showed a small improvement. Hopefully, with mom gone for three weeks so there won't be cookies and sweets around unless I make them or specifically walk up to the store to buy some, I'll be able to do better this month. I certainly hope so, because if I do any worse, my three newest outfits won't fit much better than the jeans I've been outgrowing. My new jeans are getting snug, too! I put on 1.25 inches at my waist in the past month, and if I don't stop, I'm going to have to move up yet another size. I used to be able to wear a six in one brand of jeans, and now I'm up to their tens, which are baggy elsewhere in order to fit my waist! Ah, well, I guess it's a reason for me to do better. I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted, and hardly gain an ounce, but I lost that ability right around the time I found Jevim. I think it was a worthwhile trade. He doesn't seem to mind, and in fact he's told me on several occasions that my arms are too thin (they haven't been affected by the weight I've gained, of course, I use my hands and arms too much for that to happen!).
