We stayed in for the most part last night; Jev was running out of clean clothes, so we did a load of laundry, at frozen dinners (after they were heated, of course!), and watched back to back episodes of Babylon 5.
Halfway through the second show, I started craving something chocolate -- like a milkshake -- and Jev wasn't too hard to bribe to take me out and get one. He was getting hungry again too (they were small frozen dinners), so he had chicken nuggets and one of McDonald's new big burgers, while I inhaled most of a chocolate shake. I did let him have some of it, which is why I ordered the large.
He also tinkered with the computer some, to see if my getting it to work yesterday was a fluke. It was annoying to sit and watch him undo what I'd done and make the system stop working again, but I managed to keep my mouth shut, and he did apologize for spending the time messing with it. In the end, he turned the keyboard over to me and said to try fixing it again. I did, and it passed a couple boot-ups without locking, so Jev stuck his tongue out at me. *chuckle*
While he was gathering laundry last night, Jev found a few more clean shirts being pressed under the basket (I'm not sure if it was intentional), so he says he can go another day or two without needing to do more wash (he only did whites). As he was heading out this morning, he said to hunt around online for a movie I want to see. Decisions, decisions... I'd rather think about where we'll go to eat! Yes, I'm hungry already! *wink*
If the weather would be more cooperative, we'd probably be going for walks at least a couple times a week... Tuesday when Jev got home, he said he'd been thinking of suggesting we go for a walk in the woods behind the complex, but it had rained off and on all day, so it would have been too muddy. This is really weird weather for june; I doubt it's rerached 80 degrees the whole time I've been here. Cool weather is nice, actually, but I wish it were a little drier.
