BALOGO
That's the vilage by the sea.
This is where I grew up, we moved here from Naga City when I was about four years old. I have a lot of happy childhood memories here, mostly about playing with my cousins out in the beachfront, going far out on the sea in a banca then jumping out to have a swim, trekking the hills for fruits, going to the waterfalls, in the afternnon watching the clouds form endlesss shapes, like a big moviehouse. Only, we are the scriptwriter, and the director as well.
I guess that kind of environment set my attitude for life, I became a relaxed person, ready to savor life (like a summer season that had to be lived full, so you do not feel glum for the harsh habagat-which destroyed our beachside house too many times). I became free to chart my own life, like a captain of a boat.
As I grew up, my triple Saguittarius streak wants to reach for the skies, but I always want to come back here, renewing the old ties with my folks and friends, get my feet back on the ground, watch the kids grow (not mine), and, get back into my childhood again.
