The Work: I am a social development worker currently involved with the peasant women sector in the Bicol region of the Philippines in the Luzon islands. By working together we can effect change in the way we live and achieve gender equality, agrarian/aquatic reform and sustainable rural development.

The Passion:

After college I discovered the joy of planting Gmelina (hardwood trees), and over the years had grown brave enoughto watch them sway in the force of a typhoon wind, rain and miraculously live through it all.
