Elizabeth Anne VanderPutten - One Week in My Family's Lives

From time to time, summaries of some of the events that went into making up the lives of my VanderPutten family (with or without spaces or hyphens) will be added here.
The Week of February 12, 2001
by Dick VanderPutten

Hello everybody

Sounds like it was a good week for us. Barbara got on the KKUP web site, Betty got a reminder of her "attaboy" award, Toni got a good update on the grandbaby, and a birthday -- it doesn't get much better than that!

Jean won a rigged election, I got a new computer, which I will set up as soon as I set up the desk, which should only take 2-3 weeks for an experienced instruction follower like me. I am going to take everyone's advice and get a cable modem and join Optimum online. Details to follow. Mike promised/threatened to help me. That should take up most of my weekend, along with the honeydews, like taking down the Christmas lights from the front of the house...I will only have to put them back in a few months, gee whiz.

We Easterners had a good day at Jean and Bob's and the Giants won. Tom C threw a perfect game, and Martha got 37 years younger. How could we improve on all that? Practice. Practice. Practice.
