PASS:
Prostitution Advocacy & Sex Study
Chinese version here
New! : Call For Action: Support Legal prostitutes of Taipei!
PASS is a student-founded group dedicate to the decriminalization of sexwork in Taiwan. The foundation of PASS was proposed after the opposition movement against the policy illegalizing prostitution in Taipei. Based on the experience in opposition movements, the proposer, who worked as a volunteer in the Laborer's Committee, believed that students should found a independent group which activately investigates into all aspects concerning sexwork. Not being satisfyied with official documents or media reports, we hope to provide first-hand fieldwork experience and discourse on sexwork of our own. |

The mainstream discourses on sexwork either blame sexworkers in the name
of moral issue, or base cheap sympaphies on the "tragic" stories of prostitutes.
They actually all speak from the same poisition. Rarely have we heard the voices from
sexworks themselves. We collected here a news collection, our articles, and a bibliography presenting another viewpoint different the mainstream aspect, in the hope of constructing a better environment for sexworkers to speak for their own. |

We collected some internet links you may want to take a look
if you are interested in sexwork decrimization or sex/gender studies.
