October 1st -

Montreal hadn't been in my plans, but there it was, beckoning me! Stopping at a tourist info centre led to a reservation at a hotel within walking distance of the Old City. Once there I phoned "East Coast" Barbara and we got together for supper and a walk-about. The city is full of history and beauty, and interesting people! Just watching the pedestrians cross the street anywhere and anytime can fill a day with high drama! Then there are the drivers who lean on the horn and the gas pedal when the traffic light turns orange - or red!
