Glögg
Makes 1-1¼ liters

Preparation of the spices
5 dl water
2 pieces of Seville-orange peel
2 pieces of ginger
2 cinnamon-rolls
10-15 cloves
2 tsp cardamom kernels

Bring the water and spices to a boil and let boil for 30 minutes on low heat. Strain and throw away the spices.

With Red Wine
1 bottle (75 cl) red wine
1 dl sugar
( brännvin or brandy)

Mix the spice water with the wine and the sugar. Add 1 dl brännvin or brandy to make it stronger if you wish. Drink it warm with raisins and a couple of scalded almonds.

Non-Alcoholic
1 L diluted (ready to drink) black current lemonade
OR
5 dl diluted blueberry lemonade and 3 dl diluted apple juice

Mix the spice water with the juice. Drink it warm (don't let it boil when you warm it up) with raisins and a couple of scalded almonds.
