I started writing this poem inside a plane on my way to Cebu for a corporate show I have to perform on... I finished it few days after I went back to Manila... woman of beauty, a woman of passion Beware of her irresistible seduction Once she touched your life, it will never be the same Remember, bear in mind, Angelina is her name Oh beloved Venus, I ask for your forgiveness For in my heart now, crowned a new goddess I have witnessed and I agree that she truly is Having that magic fire to ignite the blood of an Adonis Oh beloved Cupid, please do understand Now there's a woman who doesn't need an arrow or a wand All it takes is one look from her Melting even the hardest hearts and capture them forever She doesn't need to bait or even to net Once she held you captive you'll surely never regret For you'll even volunteer to become her possession Knowing it's an honor to catch her attention Now her human side is even more admirable She's the one you'll treasure, she's so unforgettable You'll feel her soul so true, whenever she's close Sharing her heart full of love wherever she goes When you get to know her, you'll appreciate her even more And never ever there'll be a time that she's likely to be ignored You'll forget the whole world whenever she's around All you'll remember is to smile, oblivious of the frown Nature couldn't be happier for the success of her mission Proudly producing a lovely masterpiece of creation Angelina, oh Angelina, I give you a promise now I wouldn't bend You have my solemn loyalty, I'll be adoring you 'til the end... |
