| I wrote this poem on my way to Iligan City with other actresses, my producer and some high-ranking officials of Philippine Military... We went there to perform and entertain the soldiers who were in the war against MILF... While on the plane, I got inspired by the stories they told us... of Ares, men of guns Fighting for peace, for our motherland We salute you today, we want you all to know We're grateful for the courage, for all the care you've shown So few, chosen ones But full of blessings from above Who else could have this guts To fight for his land because of love? Now's the chance for us to personally thank you For the love and the valor, forever oh so true We thank God for giving us men like you May our love and admiration always be with you... |
