Woodhouse Christian Fellowship Church is where I decided to worship during my stay in Leeds.
It is an independent, Bible-based church with links
to other churches throughout the U.K. and in many other countries around the world.
What struck me most about Woodhouse on my first visit was the friendly welcome
I received from the members. I found it to be a small tightly knit group of people
who love one another and are engaged in the service of the Lord Jesus Christ. Since
joining the church, I have made several friends and have had the opportunity of going
out on exciting group trips.
The church holds two services each Sunday. The morning service starts at 10.30am, with
a time of praise and worship, followed by a sermon. This is the one I normally attend.
The evening service begins at 6.30pm and is usually more relaxed with a wider opportunity
for people to contribute and participate. There is also a prayer meeting on Thursdays
evenings at 7.30pm
