I love short stories. I love taking a moment and making a story out of it. In a short story, there's no room for extras. Every word counts. Every word must be essential, and must be used wisely to make the story complete. One of my favorite ways to write a short story is a real challenge. I like being given a person, object and location, and weaving a story around it. All of the stories presented on this page have begun that way. I have a challenge for visitors to this page. Email me a list including a person, object and location. Each month, I will chose one (randomly), write a story, and post it on this page. I'm looking forward to some creative challenges.
