What joy to have this whole day to myself!

Yesterday, I had to go down to school for our Library Orientation. Nursing students make use of the library facilities a lot for research, apparently more so than the other faculties, and so, it was compulsory that we attend the orientation.

I wish they had scheduled the orientation for us much earlier. I know there's a huge batch of students they have to conduct the orientation for but by now, most of us had already groped our way through some, if not most, of the facilities. I wasn't the only one to voice this out. Kinda like wearing your pants inside out. hehehe! ;)

Anyway, I tried out the Ovid online journal database after the orientation and after the hour-long clinical practice session we had. Exciting research possibilities. I'm honestly impressed with the library facilities for nursing research. Not only do they have a fantastic collection of books, reference books, videos, CD-ROMs and journals, they also subscribe to Ovid's online database, which really costs a bomb. Even after graduation, I might decide to pay for library membership, that is, if I find time while working, to read further on the topic of interest.

So... what shall I do today? Rest and relax! I've never deserved it more! ;)
