Meat Balls with Glutinous Rice

INGREDIENTS:
400 g Pork (with fat)
2 Tbsp Dried Shrimps (soak for 15 mins)
1 tsp Minced Ginger
1 cup Glutinous Rice
SEASONING:
1 tsp Light Soya Sauce
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp White Pepper
1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
- Remove the dried shrimps from the water. Squeeze them dry in your hands.
- Mince the pork with the dried shrimps and minced ginger. Add in the
seasoning and 1/2 tsp cornflour.
- Whip the mixture into a colloid and leave aside to marinate for about 20 minutes.
- Wash the glutinous rice and soak for about 3 hours. Drain water and pour
the grains into a mixing bowl. Add in 1 Tbsp of cornflour.
- Roll the pork colloid into a ball and coat it with the glutinous rice.
Steam for about 30 minutes over high heat.
- Serve.
