My name is K... I am an at home mom of 3.
I enjoy all the June cleaver things in life..sewing, crafts, baking, cooking...although I don't think June had a tattoo and bellybutton ring! I had no real motive in life before cancer, but am now considering myself a children's cancer awareness advocate. Starting with the quilt project and waiting for the angels to give me
another job when this is done.

I have been married to hubby Dave for 6 yrs this past April. We have a great marriage now. Cancer taught us a lot about appreciating what we have. we are residing in Northern California in a townhome and enjoying all the little things...sun, friends, children, coffee, bread,
wine, cigars (I know the health issues!).

My oldest is a boy...Nolan. He is five and a half, he will
be in Kindergarten this year and soccer. He is the brightest kid I have ever met (I know I am biased).
He was the bone marrow donor for his brother.
He also tells me everything he knows about heaven
and angels, and he is an expert.

My middle child Tobin is now an active spirit. He was diagnosed with neuroblastoma June of 1997. He went through chemo, shots, surgeries and Bonemarrow transplant without a whimper. Such a brave , feisty,
funny child. I am told by people who met him that he had a profound effect on their lives...I am certain that was
his job to do. He died after an infection during BMT.
His autopsy showed that his cancer had come back anyway, so if the infection didn't take him, the cancer would have. His last day as a living person was February 17th, 1998. Now he spends his time watching over us,
he shows up some days to peek in and say hi.
I also think he is out there saving the world!
He is my sun, my star, my forever baby.

Delany is my youngest and last. She is a feisty spoiled princess 2 yr old. She insists on choosing her own clothes, no diaper and everything she gets has to be yellow..her favorite word! She shows a lot of Tobin in
her, and I think that is her gift to us, besides being a beautiful, stubborn, dirt magnet herself.
