FAIRY BREAD
bread
butter or margarine
colored sugar sprinkles
Spread butter or margarine on a slice of bread.
Sprinkle with colored sugar.
Cut diagonally into 4 small triangles.
FAIRY PUFFS
5 CUPS sharp cheddar cheese
1 CUP mozzarella cheese (grated)
3 STICKS of salted butter
3 CUPS self-rising flour
1 TSP thyme
1 TSP parsley
1 TSP dill
1/4 TSP cayenne pepper
nonstick cooking spray
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and let the butter soften to room temperature
Lightly spray the cookie sheet with the nonstick cooking spray.
Mix together grated cheese, butter, thyme, parsley, dill and cayenne pepper.
Gradually add the flour to the mixture. Blend until smooth.
Place rounded teaspoons on on greased cooking sheet
Bake from 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
LAVENDER FAIRY COOKIES
1/2 CUP butter
1 CUP sugar
2 eggs
1/2 TSP vanilla
1 TBSP finely chopped lavender flower
1-1/2 CUPS flour
2 TSP baking powder
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Stir in the dry ingredients until well blended. Drop by half-teaspoons on
ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes, and cool
slightly on baking sheet. Serve on tiny plates.
