Whether you're meeting them for the first time, or taking off on yet another adventure with them, Protectors are without a doubt the most fascinating of the Alters.

Eli, the Bodyguard. He's a wonderful Protector! The strong, silent type with the strength of Samson.

Had he not been with me during the nightmare of my first marriage, I would not have survived. I realize now that he was the one who took the worst of the physical ab*se. Thank you, my friend.

Michael, the Sentinel. Thanks to the sensitivity of a newfound friend from the land down under, subtle nuances of his character have come to light. We are all developing a new level of understanding and appreciation for this long, cool drink of water in black.

And just so no one can accuse me of having something against female protectors, I've saved the best for last.

Maggie has been with me all of my life. I've not always known her as a protector, but I realize now that she has always been. Maggie is a fascinating character and I do hope you'll take time to get to know her better.
