1.  Read and reread Psalm 1 or Philippians 4:4-20
2.  Analyze your thinking.  What are you spending most of your time thinking about?  Is it helpful?
3.  Send notes to friends who need to be reminded of God's love.
4.  Talk to a child about Jesus
5.  Share your burden with a friend
6.  Listen to your favourite Christian music and sing along
7.  Find a quiet place and pray longer than usual
8.  Ask God to show you the next growth step in your spiritual development, then take it.
9.  Visit someone who is lonely
10.  Ask God to minister to you during church services
 
Acquiring God's Peace -- Philippians 4:4-9
Rejoice:  Where is my inner focus?  What is my inner attitude? (verse 4)
Relax:  Am I anxious over something?  Can I know the Lord is near me?  (verses 5-6a)
Request:  Have I taken everything to the Lord?  Have I left it there?  (verse 6b)
Result:  Are my thoughts focused on God?  Am I guarding my heart and mind?  (verses 7,9)
Remember:  Has God been faithful before?  Can I trust Him to be faithful in the future?  (verse 8)
 
Growth
Go to God in prayer daily (John 15:7)
Read God's Word daily (Acts 17:11)
Obey God consistently (John 14:21)
Witness for Christ by your words and your life (Matthew 4:19)
Trust God for every detail of your life (1 Peter 5:7)
Holy Spirit -- allow God to control and empower your life (Galatians 5:16,17)
